DO & CO Hotel Vienna

Location is perfect and easy to access to major sightseeing spots. Food in the restaurant is also great!

I had two rooms reserved. Both were very nice. My daughters in one of the rooms. Highly recommend this place

Es hat sich Einiges verändert seit wir vor 8 Jahren da waren. Statt ONYX-BAR gibt es jetzt ein Restaurant. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett ist abgeschafft. Die Zimmer gefallen mir immer noch sehr gut, nur den Wasserfleck an der Decke hätte man mitrenovieren können. Manko war das dazugestellte dritte Bett, eher Modell Feldbett. Die Verbrauchsartikel wurden immer wieder aufgefüllt, sodass wir jederzeit Kaffee machen konnten. Das habe ich sehr geschätzt.

Great hotel and wonderful location. We stayed for a long weekend and the hotel was perfect for us, location very easy for all the sights and events. Service was great and the staff very friendly. The view out onto the square and st Stephen’s cathedral is brilliant.

The hotel views of the cathedral can’t get any better. Our room had a beautiful view. Location can’t be beat. Concierge was helpful. Sushi was good but expensive at hotel. Room was very nice but the air conditioning wasn’t cold as we’re used to. Finding that an issue everywhere in Europe though. Bed wasn’t as comfy either- also a common issue. The classical musical concerts were amazing . Vienna is lovely. Good for me is so so as I’m not a chocolate, cream or butter eater. But the sausage was great!

My wife and I enjoyed a three night stay in a comfortable room overlooking Saint Stephens Cathedral. It was a busy but super convenient location. Staff were excellent in all aspects. The hotel is on the 3rd to 6th floors of a building and the lobby is on the sixth floor...so if you are looking for a grand lobby you won't find it here. The bar on the 6th floor serves great drinks and Japanese food..it iwas expensive but great food and view.

Impressions after staying here for 6 days... great looking suite with the 180° panorama windows of the square with St Stephen's one side, the Christmas markets, cafes, people and the underground. All the Christmas lights and market stalls on the streets is nice to see from high above.    The reception is on the sixth floor which is somewhat odd... it's also by the restaurant. In the evening if you're checking in there's a lot of background noise there with people waiting to be seated at the nearby restaurant that you can barely hear the receptionist for checking in. To get to the other floors you have to use a key. There is construction on some of the floors there so you can hear them banging and drilling during the day. When I checked in they charged my card €600 i.e. €100  per day, in case I used the mini bar which I didn't. They should have told me that just so that I was aware of the 600 Euro charge to my card.      The suite itself is kind of deceiving because you think it's going to be larger but it's not. The front living area isn't really compatible for hanging out as the sofa is too small & not comfortable. The mini bar - I don't know if that's functional really. The room has a few gadgets but they were not explained by the doorman as to how to operate them as well as there were several buttons on the bubble tub. After fumbling around for 5 mins I had the receptionist check them and she couldn't get them to work either, she did mention the floors were heated but she couldn't find a thermostat for the floors. I didn't think the floors were heated. Of the gadgets there's a couple of AC fans that were obvious but the heaters were not so obvious and apparently the room's thermostat doesn't control the heat, only controls the air. The one heater we couldn't get it to work. They look like a big halo ionizer? The other heater did work but it took a little while to get it working. They did not have USB connections but reception got me a USB converter so that worked out.    There is a little bubbly hot tub if you would call it that, more like a tub with tiny bubbles coming from the bottom, in the bedroom interestingly enough. There's a big screen TV above the tub so you can almost watch the TV from the tub but it's right above you so it's hard to view, plenty of closet space. big king bed, lots of lights you can actually see the lights of the room from the street level and probably be able to see me waving at you. The shower is nicely large with a big rain-drop shower head and a manual hand shower head. The drain is really cool... on the sides of the shower floor against the wall - no central drain which is fabulously nice as you don't get your toes caught on the plug hole or the stopper.  The suite has two WC's and a desk by the front door.   They don't offer tea nor offer enough cream and sugar for the coffee but you can easily call reception to replenish. They do offer water refills and they did have a martini glass full of gummy bear

The DO&CO Hotel Vienna is truly located in the heart of the city. The location is fantastic, with everything just a stone's throw away. The room size is quite acceptable for a boutique hotel, and the views from our suite with the balcony were simply breathtaking, offering a panoramic sight of Vienna. Breakfast on the rooftop balcony was unforgettable, a perfect way to start the day. From the beginning, the porter, the reception team, and all the staff were kind, professional, and attentive. The cleanliness and service were top-notch, with everything handled promptly and accurately. We stayed for four nights in two rooms right next to each other, enjoying the best access to all that Vienna has to offer. With just one elevator change, you can easily reach the train station and explore the entire city with ease. It was a very memorable stay, and we thank you for making our visit so special.
