Vi boede på Victoria Hotel en nat før vi rejste videre. Vi ankom tidligt og var i stand til at få adgang til vores værelse tidligt. Værelset var meget moderne og komfortabelt, sengen hyggelig og bruseren fremragende. Morgenmad havde et stort udvalg af muligheder. Booking ture var ubesværet ad walking til Victoria Falls fra hotellet var let og sikkert. Elskede den koloniale fornemmelse.

Superbe chambre d’hôtel ( suite) obtenue à un prix très raisonnable pour le standing. Très bon petit déjeuner et thé avec scones et autres gâteaux. Très bon emplacement et superbe jardin d’où on peut apercevoir la brume des chutes Victoria et le pont. Warthog ( phacochère dans le jardin). A tester au moins une nuit à Victoria Falls . Lockout restaurant situé pas tres loin avec très belle vue sur le canyon.

不愧是大不列顛殖民者所建的具有百年歷史的豪華酒店，處處彰顯貴族氣質，低調大氣，服務周到細緻，黑人小哥引導到專門的客廳辦理入住，送上濕巾棉和檸檬水。酒店後花園正對着瀑布大橋，最美妙的是邊喝着英式下午茶邊欣賞瀑布騰起的霧氣。

房間安排在了空調外機旁，有點吵。位置和用餐都很好👌🏻

早餐晚餐都是在這裏吃的，吃了三天，雖然疫情但是做的都很好，關鍵是房費含了餐費，酒水除外，服務人類態度好。 晚上外面蚊子別穿短褲多小心瘧疾

Stor park med udsigt over vandfaldet, værelser med myggenet. Uregelmæssig Wi-Fi. Fuld morgenmad. Stor swimmingpool, lille fitnesscenter. Venlig men tilfældig service: vinservice i vandglasset, roomservice for natten kl. 17.30! Vi var nødt til at tage afsted kl. 15.00 til vores returflyvning, så jeg beder om en sen check ud: svar det koster 229$! Så jeg beder om et gæsteværelse : svar : det findes ikke. Så hvordan kommer jeg videre: svar: Sæt dig på en bænk foran hotellet, det har jeg aldrig set!

Besøgte Vic Falls mange gange i 25+ år, ikke deltog i HighTea. V skuffende; sandwich var V tynde / 1 bid & 1 af hver kun. Scones, ikke større end en squashkugle og kager for søde. Sammenligning af pris/kvalitet med anden mad under vores ophold.

This was a bucket list hotel that we had planned for from years ago, and it did not disappoint. The rooms were lovely, and very in keeping with the style of the hotel. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile in assisting my friend retrieve her luggage which was missing for the first 24 hours of our stay. The wilderness desk assisted in booking a sunset cruise and suggested other activities we may like to try. Our stay had been booked through our travel agent, and we had assumed that the hotel would automatically send a shuttle bus to the airport for incoming flights, however this wasn’t the case so we had to get a taxi. I stand corrected on this, but it doesn’t appear that they have a shuttle bus for guests. To be fair, we didn’t question this at the time but I am happy to be corrected on this. Our stay was three nights, and we loved every minute of it from the breakfasts, the lovely pool area, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and cocktails in Stanley’s bar. Sitting with a cold glass of wine watching the spray from the falls and the famous bridge was very relaxing. Need to start saving up for a return trip!

For my wife’s 60th birthday, we decided to celebrate the special occasion at The Victoria Falls Hotel, a beautiful historic colonial style hotel, with immaculate grounds and gardens, and spectacular views of the Victoria Falls bridge, gorge, and spray from the falls. We were upgraded to the elegant Stables Signature Wing, and our luxurious deluxe room with a comfortable king size bed was extremely spacious with a large en-suite bathroom, with a Victorian bathtub and separate walk-in shower. The Stables Wing has their own lovely private central courtyard and has convenient direct access to the front lawns of the hotel. The hotel is in a prime position to explore the falls from both the Zimbabwean and Botswana side. During our stay, we were fortunate to see warthog foraging and mongoose scurrying around the property, as well as a herd of buffalo grazing close to the property fence. The Victoria Falls Hotel has many appealing facilities, including stately lounges, Stanley’s Bar, the Edwardian Pool, as well as the Larry Norton gallery, and the Stone Dynamics gallery. There is also a Beauty Spa, and my wife had a Swedish massage which she thoroughly enjoyed. The high tea on Stanley’s Terrace was excellent, complimented by the magnificent views of the property and the spray from the falls below. The fine dining experience at the opulent Livingstone Room was outstanding and the food was superb. The buffet breakfasts served at Jungle Junction, also with fantastic views, were delicious with an extensive and varied selection of food. During our entire stay, all the staff were extremely courteous, attentive, efficient, and friendly. A special mention must be made of Kingsley, who was absolutely brilliant, ensuring that everything was handled perfectly, going out of his way to ensure a perfect stay. During our stay we also booked a few activities with Wild Horizons, who we can thoroughly recommend. We did the “Zambezi Spectacular Flight of Angels” which was an amazing 25-minute helicopter flight over the falls, Zambezi River, Batoka Gorge, and the Zambezi National Park. On my wife’s birthday, we celebrated with a dinner cruise on the Zambezi River. Experiencing an African sunset on the Zambezi, having a scrumptious meal inspired by local flavours, and seeing plenty hippos, and crocodiles was a very special and magical experience. We also went on a day trip to Chobe National Park in Botswana, and on our land and river safaris, we were fortunate to see lots of wildlife, including large herds of elephant, hippos, and crocodiles. We also decided to have lunch at Wild Horizons open-air Lookout Café which is close to the hotel. The food was enjoyable, and the views of the Zambezi River, the Batoka Gorge, and the Victoria Falls Bridge are impressive. All the activities were incredible and truly memorable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and had an incredible stay at The Victoria Falls Hotel, and definitely hope to be back again.

3 nights in March after disembarking from the Rovos Rail. Warm welcome in a hotel that has a wonderful old-world colonial feel about it. Very friendly staff and good attentive service throughout our stay. Room was perfectly adequate and well serviced. Good selection at breakfast and terrace food was good too. Be careful with the wine selection as these are generally hugely overpriced. Cocktails are fabulous though. Very difficult to get change of $s from the cashier in the lobby ; being told to keep coming back later. This is not really acceptable from a 5* hotel. The bar or Stanley Room has loads of potential but the seating arrangements could be improved. Overall a very pleasant stay in a beautiful location. Highly recommended.

A hotel of legend. A jewel. An undertaking of epic proportions to maintain its reputation and now satisfy clients from the 21st century. The unreplicable quality of smiling service ( Vusa) was outstanding from everyone. The Stable room was gorgeous. However, the terrace food needs some attention ( disappointing in taste and poor attention to detail) and the fine dining offering was a fixed menu so “regular” in appeal without flair nor colour that it did not merit a visit.
