Motel 6 Vicksburg, MS anmeldelser

This motel is not in good condition. The first room we were given had a clogged bathroom sink. There was also a bug in the tub, and neither the tub or the sink had drain stoppers. There is no way housekeeping would not know the sink was clogged. It did not drain at all. The room they moved us to was slightly cleaner but the hot water handle for the shower did not work. The manager did come immediately to fix it and explained that they were renovating, but again there is no way housekeeping would not know about the broken handle if the bathroom had been cleaned. Someone should check the rooms before giving them to guests. The shower in that room also drained slowly so we ended up standing in dirty water when showering. I thought Motel 6 was trying to improve their image. This is not the way to do it.

I am homeless and being stalked by my ex bf I've had to stay at every hotel in Vicksburg that I could afford and was basically run out of every one except this motel. They are professional clean and showed me nothing but kindness. I'm so thankful for the owners. Without their support I may not have survived. God bless the owners and I can only hope to one day repay them for this simple act of true humanity. I recommend this hotel above any in Vicksburg MS. It's friendly safe affordable and the nicest I've stayed in yet. I can't be more grateful!

Check in was fine. The room was bare minimum for the price we paid. No chair in the room so we could sit at a table or desk and eat. No table to sit at anyway. I would think they wouldn't want us eating on the beds. Only one set of towels in a two double bed room. No blow dryer. Location to everything was good but the room only had two beds, desk under the tv with no chair, only one bedside table. No refrigerator or microwave. Glass light shade in bathroom was broken and still on the light around tub and toilet. Smells like somebody smoked in here to. I just needed a place that accepted a small dog and was on ground floor, non smoking because spouse has COPD.. I am glad it was only for one night. Pictures make it look nicer then our room was. Looked pretty clean . Still the price of the room didn't have anything that another motel for that price would have had. I have had a room that had everything but was really nasty at a different motel so I guess this will do for tonight.

Last night was supposed to be a couples overnight stay, but it turned out to be a entire family of roaches living there in room 111. It was reported to housekeeping, she said report it to front desk. We did and nothing was said. We checked in on 7/15 out on 7/16. The shower wall was cracked and had pieces missing which had sharp edges which could be dangerous.
