Antico Brolo

Not very welcoming, the standard of my room was not like in the pictures! I arrived at this place too early (my fault) after a 6-hour motorcycle ride from Rome in 40-degree heat. I was told that the room was not ready (I understand that), that I could leave my luggage, but that I had to go out and wait for 3 hours before I could come back in. I wasn't offered a seat to rest for half an hour or even a glass of water. As a completely exhausted guest, I did not experience hospitality or compassion. The room I got was on the ground floor and had large windows facing the main area where people usually walk by or sit very close. This meant that to have a bit of privacy in the bedroom (the only room), I had to keep the curtains closed and the light on all the time. The room also had visits from cockroaches, and the shower looked very moldy. There was no shower soap. The entire experience has been disappointing in various aspects. I will never come back, and I will never recommend this place!
