The Islander Inn

The Islander Inn in Vero Beach is a gem for a weekend getaway with your little pups! From its welcoming, pet-friendly atmosphere to the charming, well-maintained rooms, every detail felt tailored to ensure both comfort and relaxation. The spacious grounds gave my dogs plenty of room to explore, and the nearby beach access made for picturesque morning walks. The staff were incredibly accommodating, making us feel right at home. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat that caters to both you and your furry friends, The Islander Inn is the perfect choice!

Clean, friendly, good location, nice little breakfast, etc. But saying complimentary bikes was a little misleading because they have to be back before 7:30 -- means you can't even ride them to dinner. I guess this is because their office is only staffed till 7:30pm but I stayed there partly because of the bikes so it was a bummer to then have to pay for an Uber. Seems like they could simply get some locks for the bikes and have guests leave a deposit. Also was woken up at 6am because I guess a previous guest had set the alarm to that, I asked the second night if someone in the office could make sure the alarm wasn't set again and thankfully noticed right before I went to bed that it was again set for 6am, not sure if they misunderstood me and thought I asked for 6am. I never touch those old digital alarms so it was rude awakening. Another minor issue is the code for my room didn't work for about the first 8 minutes when I checked in and the office isn't really staffed in the morning because they're cleaning the rooms so both times I had to wait for someone to come answer my question. Small business though, I get it. On the plus side they were very accommodating with late check outs and were ok when I wanted to check in after 8pm, which fyi you have to make special arrangements to do.

The location was excellent - brilliant facilities and great friendly staff. Parking included and very near. Sitting areas outside room under porch. Lots of local restaurants and shops nearby. Very close to the beach. Would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at the Islander! Our room was large, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Our favorite part of our stay was the morning coffee cart and the nightly champagne they poured while we sat on the patio. Jeff and Ramon were awesome during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

The management was super nice and helpful! The room was as expected, clean!! They served coffee and muffins in the courtyard every morning. Great location for walked to the beach, shopping and restaurants. We had a room with a kitchenette that was well-equipped. We highly recommend!!

We had a very pleasant experience at the Islander Inn. Its a great location, across the street from the beach, lots of walking distance restaurants and shops and a designated parking space. Since coffee and muffins are not served till 7am, they gave us a Keurig pot and supplies to make coffee earlier in the am. Very nice touch. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
