So I need to explain how one bad employee can destroy a business. We booked a room for the weekend to go to the Starlight drive in movie theatre, plus some shopping, for my daughter’s birthday. When we arrived, everything was great. They helped us with changing rooms for a better experience and we even had a great food dinning experience across the parking lot at Ricky’s. So we went to the drive in and returned to the inn around 1:30am, and there is zero parking. When I say zero I mean we are driving a crew cab ram 1500 no parking. Only spots are 2-3 marked small vehicles only and 2 handicap parking spaces. I went in to ask the front desk about what we should do. I rang the bell 4 times and asked HELLo anyone there. I can hear the tv playing. Finally hit the bell and she came out. I asked very politely as to where we should park. In a very not so nice tone she proceeded to tell me that she can see at least 5 spaces over here, and a few more over there. I asked if she could show me and she abruptly told me no, the cameras are only for her. Then my back got up. I told her all the spots are for small cars and handicapped and she has a superior propane truck and trailer taking up 7 full spots. So she snapped back again with the I see 5 spots again. I left to explain to my wife what she said. We finally jammed our truck in a small vehicle spot with zero room for the other vehicle to get in and squished up to a tree. When my wife went to explain to her about the situation and the truck and trailer the lady was ready for a scrap with phone in hand. We went to our room. Here’s where it’s simple for our family. We will never stay here again. Because of the actions of one horrible night shift employee, this hotel has lost me, my wife, my daughter, and her boyfriend as patrons. Plus to make it worse probably whoever else we tell our experience too. That’s how fast one bad employee can ruin a business. Things could have been so different, but for whatever reason that night shift employee didn’t care about our customer experience. So that is that, we will never stay here again.
