Kalidon Beach Hotel

Very decent and clean hotel next to the sea. Towels changed every day. Extremely helpful stuff that make us feel like part of family. In room we had really big double bed, fridge, tv. Nice breakfasts - everyone will find something for them even if u are vegetarian. Great base to visit the island - bus stop very close, rent a car in next building. 7 minutes walk to center of Kokkari. The only 2 things that could be better is small shower (but u can use to it), and poor wifi in room. We will definitely come back because Samos is beautiful and stuff of hotel make us feel like home ♥️

An absolute gem of a place. Everything is perfect and so spotless. Lovely selection of food and drinks at breakfast. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, great location too. Highly recommend this Hotel.

We have just returned from the Kalidon Beach Hotel for the second time and, as before, we had a wonderful holiday. The staff, Anna and Stamatia were so helpful and welcoming. They couldn't do enough for us. Our room was spotless as was the small bathroom. Toiletries provided and abundant hot water. Clean towels daily. Our room contained a chair, fridge with mini bar, telephone, hair dryer, safe and had air conditioning and a small balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Breakfast is provided in the small dining room but there is a large outdoor terrace with tables and chairs. Hot and cold food is available with many little extras and excellent coffee! The hotel is located within Kokkari village close to the centre and all the many tavernas lining the harbour and a few steps away from the long beach which is across the road behind the houses and many restaurants lining the beach. The location is perfect. The sister hotel - Kalidon Panorama Hotel which we have also stayed at twice -- is located on the hillside overlooking Kokkari. All staff here are so friendly and helpful. This hotel has a magnificent swimming pool, spotless shower and toilet facilities which guests at the Beach Hotel can use. The Panorama is a beautiful hotel with outstanding views over Kokkari from the hillside location. The Kalidon's mini bus provides a free shuttle service 4 times a day between both hotels and the 2 nearby beaches. Highly recommend both hotels.

De foto die uitkijkt over een baai is absoluut niet genomen vanuit het hotel, dit is misschien goed bedoeld (?) maar zet de reiziger wel op het verkeerde been. De ligging van het hotel is perfect, vlak bij het strand en de diverse restaurants en bars. De kamers zijn echter erg krap en ongemakkelijk. Er is een balkon(netje) met 2 kleine stoeltjes maar daar kun je niet met 2 man zitten, zo krap is ‘t. De kamer is klein en gedateerd en de badkamer is ook veel te krap. Het ontbijt is iedere dag hetzelfde maar wel heel behoorlijk. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Al met al een gemiddeld hotel met erg kleine kamers
