Daios Cove

My Mum and I stayed in this hotel for a week in early July 2024 and cannot recommend this hotel enough. We booked through BA Holidays and were originally due to travel in June 2024 but had to amend our holiday for family reasons. The hotel were very kind in assisting us in changing the dates and our original type of room was available and the hotel assisted in changing our hotel reservations etc. We had the premium junior suite with private pool and the room was unbelievable. We really enjoyed our private pool and being part of the residents club was excellent with the room service being great for lunch by our private pool. I would definitely recommend the residents club if you are able to have this package, the breakfasts in ocean and Pangea were brilliant. For dinner our favourites were the beach house and ocean. The staff were so personal remembering our room number and breakfast orders every day. Although this is a large resort and we were on the highest level, the buggies and funiculars made the hotel easy to navigate. I also used the gym most mornings during our stay which was well equipped with an amazing morning view, the staff were always happy to help here to. Already looking at dates and prices to come back near year. Daios Cove thank you for the most relaxing week! ⛱️️

Well if you are considering a rude obnoxious front of house team then this will tick all the boxes for you. Having fortunately stayed at many luxury hotels around the world I was thinking that I might add this hotel to my list. However the place lacks any character. It's a place that relies on placing itself in magazines that are paid to promote this hotel. Avoid and spend your money more wisely with some careful research of the area.

It expected our expectations, really. The hotel is beautiful, in a secluded area. The rooms are modern, the view is breathtaking, the pool and beach are so enjoyable. The service and the attention from the staff is excellent… but to be fair, where we were greatly impressed is by the quality of the food. Really if anything we ate way too much 😅

We have been there for 5 nights. The place was like a heaven on earth with amazing view, filled with nature, mountains and sea. The manager George Setekaouri has been very helpful for us. Arranging the best experience and service for us. Will never forget this holiday.

We have just returned from a fabulous 6 days. Arriving late on Friday, a quick check-in and then a buggy up to room 750. Was given an upgrade to a Seaview suite, large and spacious, huge comfy bed. Our original booking was on the full board basis, but we upgraded to all inclusive. All drinks are premium brands. The food was great, the breakfast and buffet in Pangea had great choices and was plentiful. Huge thanks to Yiannis, looked after us so well. Now we had been worried about the sunbed situation but it was fine. The pool guys are great, you look after them, they will look after you. There are loads of sunbeds down on the Beach, the water is crystal clear and slightly warmer than the pools. The evenings were fairly quiet but we didn't mind that. We would pop down to the Beach house for drink as the sun goes down, the guys there are great. Big shout to Alex, so welcoming and always time to say hi. The Ocean bar is where we would end up at the end of the day, very chilled. Andreas was great, so knowledgeable when it came to cocktails, a couple of mornings with a sore head. We did visit Agios Nikolaos, stunning town. Overall we would highly recommend this beautiful resort, the staff, the service is exceptional.

Yes yes yes! This place is special! Had a room on street 7 private pool . It’s amazing—easy access to the funicular to get down to the main complex! The cove and the view are worth the price of admission! It’s true the pool loungers does get filled up quite quickly in the morning but we headed down to the beach daily at around 11 and never had trouble finding a set of chairs and spending the rest of the day in and out of the crystal clear water. The beach does get fairly windy depending on time of day but it ruined nothing for us! Food wise we were upgraded to full board on a special on Mr and Mrs smith. It was amazing three course lunch with an iced freddo cappuccino after? Yes please. The buffet was good lots of choice but for us, the ambience there was lacking. Felt a bit too canteen-ish for the lux nature of the rest of the place. I’m not really sure what you do to fix that? Maybe lower the level of light a bit to start? But it certainly didn’t ruin anything for us! The only drawback for us was dinner at Ocean one night when we decided not to do the buffet and treat ourselves. For the price it was not worth it. A salad of raw veggies with an orange vinaigrette was not worth the 20 something euro paid. Nether was the pasta that was well cooked but had a few pieces of rabbit and a mayo-based sauce. The food at the buffet was much better so we happily ate there for the rest of the week! Don’t let that put you off though ever since lunch we had at the beach bar was absolutely stellar. It’s very rare that during a holiday we actively look online to see about booking again next year, and we did exactly that here at Daios Cove. We’ll be back!
