Perantzada Hotel 1811

Beautiful hotel with arty decorations. The biggest asset were Andonis and Katherina who are so warm and welcoming, making everything possible to look after you. We stayed in a spacious suite and encountered very unpleasant problem. The hot water was orange in colour and that did not change throughout our stay despite the efforts of Andonis and local plumbers. We were offered to take shower next door which was rather inconvenient and also replacing our large bathroom with jaccuzzi with tiny shower was not what we expected. We asked whether the rate perhaps can be reduced, but the management in Athens was adamant they will not nor the owner Mr Tsimaras. Problems can occur everywhere but how we deal with it, makes the difference.

We just returned home from a 6 night stay at the Perantzada hotel and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a charming boutique hotel that’s situated in a fantastic location with the most attentive staff. Both Antonio and Katerina couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They have a wealth of knowledge on the local area including good restaurants, businesses and beaches, so we recommend taking note of their suggestions if interested. We hired a car and small speed boat during our stay, both of which Antonio and Katerina arranged for us. Their third party providers for this were good value and reliable. Certainly worth getting on the road / sea to see some of Ithaca’s best spots. Road parking free and easy to access from the hotel. House keeping did a great job. It’s the subtle details that stood out, the room was always ready when we returned from breakfast but we never felt rushed to be out so they could get in. It felt seamless yet relaxed which was appreciated. Breakfast generous in its continental options, some hot options too and eggs could be ordered to preference. Hot drinks, juice etc all available. The swimming pool was perfectly suited to a boutique hotel and looked out on Vathy harbour. Our stay was at the start of the season so plenty of seating and beds for the number of guests staying at the time. There’s a small beach where you can swim which takes about 10 mins to walk to. Otherwise bigger beaches with facilities within close driving distance. Lastly, Mojito’s fab! Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to returning soon.

Had the best experience at this gorgeous boutique hotel overlooking the stunning Vathy Harbour. Amazing rooms and facilities, cleanliness, delicious breakfast and the most helpful and attentive staff. Special thanks to Manager Antonio for all his recommendations and professionalism to the beautiful Morfo and Katherin seeing your smiling faces every morning made our day. My husband and I have just returned from a fabulous 7 day stay at the Perantzada Hotel in Vathy, Ithaca. This hotel is an absolute gem. We loved everything about it. Our room was tastefully put together. Mattress and pillows very comfortable. Thick cotton dressing gowns. Hair drier. Nespresso machine (capsules supplied but cheaper to buy at local supermarket). Plenty of towels and face clothes which were laundered everyday. Endless supply of complimentary still water. Shampoo and soaps. Double glazing which muffled the sounds of the early morning chorus. Room was light and very clean. Our balcony was small but facilitated 2 chairs. Our view was just lovely overlooking the harbour in Vathy. Each bedroom has a name, ours was Starfruit. The communal areas were magical. Small well kept terraces dotted around. The infinity pool section was 'dreamy'. Comfortable sofas / chairs and wooden sunbeds. Beach towels and pool towels readily available. Our tariff was bed and breakfast. The options for breakfast were good. Pastries, croissants, fruit, eggs, meats, yoghurt, juices. Particularly good coffee including decaf. Lunch is available and although the menu is limited it is perfectly acceptable. Enjoying a local rose wine or beer by the pool at whatever time of day cemented our dream holiday. To make our experience that much better the staff at this establishment were fantastic. Antonio (the manager) and Katerina are the kindest, most helpful, lovely people. They made sure our stay was faultless from the get go. They went above and beyond. After 7 days we now consider them as friends and very much look forward to seeing the again soon. Thank you SO much.

Perched on an incline over a few levels the hotel overlooks the pretty port & harbour. A very warm welcome awaits from Antonio the hotel manager, Katerina & the other very nice staff (whose names I never got, sorry) who were all incredibly helpful to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room with a balcony gave us a spectacular view of Vathy, the boats and out into the bay. The room was compact but brightly decorated and clean. Always hot water and complimentary cold bottled water to drink for guests. Breakfast was excellent; fresh Greek yoghurt, granola, seeds, nuts, lovingly home made preserves, local honey, a big selection of continental & Greek pastries, and - eggs & bacon. Light lunches like Greek/tuna salad available with served drinks poolside in the afternoons. Pool was small but clean with nice loungers & fresh towels. Five minute walk to supermarket if needed, a boat to beautiful sheltered Gdaki beach and a plethora of restaurants 10 minutes walk in town. As a designer I totally loved the quirky items dotted about the hotel. Truly a very special place to make our happy memories indeed.

We had a unique and wonderful stay at the perantzada hotel . Everything was just great!!! We were huged by an exceptional staf, especially Antoni and Katerina who did their utmost to make our vacation unforgettable . the accommodation is so pleasant, clean and so beautiful designed and the pool area with the andless views is magnificent.
