Cocogiri Island Resort Maldives

We moved from the beach villa to our overwater jacuzzi water villa with ease Upon reaching the room, we loved the view where you'll be able to see sunrise on the left side and the sunset on the right of it. Tried out the jacuzzi pool, swam around our overwater villa throughout the afternoon. We brought bread from the meals and fed the fishes that were always around the villa. During low tide, you could even stand in the water under the overwater villa with fishes swimming around you, all the time. Once in a while, you may see a solo nurse shark swim nearby. The pictures taken are so Instagram-able . Really enjoyed our stay at this resort. After meals, will play at the pool table, air hockey, play darts and table futsal. My son also paid a visit to the gym. There is an Ameera Spa just behind the main dining hall.

We were fortunate enough to make this our second visit to Cocogiri Island Resort, and once again it proved to be as wonderful as our very first visit. The island is beautiful, and the gardening team work so hard keeping it looking pristine. The food was amazing, and always lots of variety on the menu. The Housekeeping team work hard and ensure the rooms are kept clean and tidy with regular bedding and towel exchanges. The bar staff and waiting staff were always happy to chat despite being very busy. It's a team effort I know for all the staff and between them they were without exception a great bunch of very hard working individuals and their efforts were very much appreciated. The team were led by Tina, who was an absolute star !! Extremely professional and lovely to talk with. She did her utmost to ensure we had a holiday to remember, and again nothing was too much trouble. I feel the need to mention some members of staff that we had dealings with regularly, and they were always very friendly, hard working and great to talk with. These were, (in no particular order), Mr P (you know who you are !), Raunak, Rahul, and all the bar staff that we kept busy.....you were all fantastic. Overall a fantastic holiday was had, and I would recommend to anyone that has the opportunity to visit this beautiful island.

I visited Cocogiri in May 2026 with family. I absolutely really liked the experience at Cocogiri. The staff were super helpful and very attentive for all the requests we had, especially preparing kids meals. The check-in process was smooth and the accommodation was ready by the time we arrived in the afternoon. The check-out was also good, please make sure you settle the bills a little in advance in order to avoid any payment delays and hassles. The payment process was very straightforward and the manager offered different methods to settle payment. The atmosphere around the island is very quite and relaxing, the vibe definitely is all about relaxing, and slow paced. The island itself is very well kept and hotel is clean. The room was cleaned twice daily. No pests and insects bothered us as much as there were lots of trees around the island. We spent our time outdoors, at the beach right from the room , swimming when it's high tide is safer because of the corals. Be careful for the corals as not to step over them. Ameera spa at Cocogiri is wonderful. It's a must try! Spa therapist were great, experienced and professional. The visit to Ameera spa was made memorable with the excellent attentiveness of the therapist and addressing my most necessary treatments to make me feel relaxed and unwind during the stay. The full body massage at Ameera spa was really good. The main restaurant had many varieties to choose from during each meal time. The food was delicious , very tasty. The mutton biriyani was an absolute delight. Also the lamb steak was delicious. During meal times the restaurant gets a little busier, make sure to come a little early as to get a table with a nice view of the ocean. We sat at our usual spot closer to the ocean view and also with a closer look at the kids club because my son frequently visited the kids club. Overall the stay was a value for money experience.

What a fabulous holiday. The rooms are spotless, the service is excellent and as a vegetarian, the food was wonderful. I can’t wait to go back. Tina and her team are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. The vegetarian and pastry chefs were excellent. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Loved it , thank you Tina

The island is small but beautiful. Great water villa,clean and comfortable .The buffet of the restaurant is varied and change every day very good. Snorkeling is amazing.Recomend trip swimming with sharks brilliant. The manager Tina and her team is extremely helpful, friendly. Tina make sure everything is to your expectations. The sea plane highly recommend. Thank you for amazing, chill holiday. Can't wait to come back ♥️ If you looking for chill, relax break highly recommended.

A paradise on earth..we loved the resort the staff and the service..Best place to stay in Maldives..More sports activities needs to be concentrated..keep up the good work..

Paradise beautiful island staff are amazing very helpful kind and polite Water bungalow was stunning waking up to clear blue water. Food was delicious and plenty to choose from. Water sports was fantastic.
