The Zuri White Sands, Goa Resort & Casino

A beautiful hotel in Varca, South Goa set right on the beach in amazing lush green gardens. We only had bed & breakfast (which was excellent) and didn’t dine at the hotel in the evenings as a few places nearby or we got a local taxi further afield. The hotel pool was huge and plenty of sunbeds for everyone and we had a ground floor room with a garden terrace area outside where we could sit and chill. The pool has a swim up bar which I thought was quite expensive but was a nice spot for an afternoon drink. The hotel staff were all exceptionally and polite and helpful and were more than happy to provide extra bottles of water to the room at no cost. Room was nice but perhaps the shower area needed a bit of TLC.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic, the rooms were very comfortable and spacious with a well stocked mini bar fresh bottled water every day and room service was excellent, The pool is very big and and has a great swim up bar with some great staff in particular a young bar *** called Sangappa who was very helpful and looked after us all the time a great member of staff, I would also like to thank the pool boy Pakesh for always looking after us throughout our stay, The beach was very clean and the seafood restaurant is a must, Neil saywell room 157

Zuri is an excellent beach side resort, wonderful pool with amazing Waterfall cafe and their mouth warming dishes with multiple options… Play options for kids and beautiful multi acre premises… they have almost everything that one can expect from a 5 start beach side resort…..

The only sad part about getting to stay at Zuri that I only got to stay there for 1 day. I wish I had more time in my schedule. Overall a great property to stay. We got our stay upgraded to Villa, got good food options, authentic seafood taste at seaside in-house restaurant, good pick & drop to airport & Madgaon station. It was my second trip to Zuri, and it is still the property to go..

I stayed at Zuri white sands for my solo birthday Goa trip and I definitely chose the right property! It’s so well maintained. From the check in itself Arnav Mukherjee was super helpful in making my stay comfortable and making sure I feel safe at the property as I was a solo female traveller. And from that moment itself I knew I would have a fab stay at Zuri - and so it was! Beautiful well maintained rooms, also enjoyed the spa services. In the food and beverages team Manoj was super helpful as one of a days I felt a bit sick when I showed up at the buffet dinner but I felt well taken care for. Also thanks to Shubham from the housekeeping team, for beautifully decorating my room for my birthday. The staff also surprised me with the cake! Very cute. Overall I had a very wholesome and relaxing stay here, definitely recommend!!

We are well travelled guests, staying in hotels all around the world.. Two weeks at the Zuri was a time to escape the pressures of work.. But instead we was subjected to the pressures of over attentive restaurant staff, was unable to use some facilities due to weddings/festivals and had to put up with foul sewer smells that wafted around the pool areas and gardens, most unpleasant when sunbathing. The biggest bonus for this hotel is its beautiful gardens that lead down to the incredible Varca beach. The Main Restaurant food is a good buffet but everyday was much the same as the day before, great if you are only staying 2-3 nights, but boring if any longer. The Restaurant service is varied,our first few days we struggled to get our tables cleared as 3/4 staff serviced just one table of 4.Then the last few days of our holiday we struggled to eat a meal in peace without having servers and their Managers consistently visiting our table.. Eventually we spent our last evening eating in a Beach Shack with discreet service,rather than visit the hotel dining room. The rooms are clean and acceptable but dated and shabby..but they are well looked after by housekeeping. The staff who are the backbone of this hotel are the Gardners, Housekeeping and general cleaners, the pool staff and the security guys down by the beach, not forgetting the "bird" *** who patrolled the outside eating areas to keep them bird free. They are the unsung heros who work behind the scenes to give discreet customer service and are always so polite. Would I visit again? No.. The foul sewer smells and over bearing Restaurant staff spoilt it for us.
