Family run home stay that l will return to on next trip. The family members are so generous in nature and really try so hard to make your stay pleasant. Great advice for local area was given to us. So much effort went into our daily breakfast which was authentic and delicious. Beautiful people, all of them. The rooms were good. Aircon and nice hot shower. Good pillows and bed was comfortable. TV which l did not use. Fridge in room. Lovely outside area to sit in surrounded by many plants. A great affordable place to stay very close to ghats and everything of interest in Varanasi

Our stay at Ratnakar Bhawan (Heritage Homestay), on our first visit to Varanasi was indeed an excellent decision. Just as our visit to Varanasi was most memorable, so was our stay at Ratnakar Bhawan. As the name signifies - truly homely, with clean, comfortable rooms & facilities. Our stay was personally overseen by a most caring & helpful Rahul, the owner. We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is near Assi ghat and it's a great location to see Vishwanath Kashi Temple and other ghat. The room was very big, clean and modern. Breakfast was also great. The people who worked there were friendly. Especially Mr.Rahul and his mom who provided us the best hospitality. We will definitely stay here. if we visit Varanasi again.

Centrally located in Varanasi near Shivala ghat, Ratnakar Bhawan proved to be the perfect choice for our family which included my 85 year old father. We opted for 3 superior rooms at ground floor, keeping the convenience of my parents in mind. Rahul ji, his brother and the whole family are very nice hosts and they take care of your all needs with ease and broad smiles. They supported in our local travel plans and homely food. When we were going round places that needed much walking, my father stayed home and Rahuljis' family members and staff took very good care of him. The heritage haveli of Rahulji's family is very spacious and cozy place. We also enjoyed dinner with the family in their huge dining-cum-drawing hall on first floor. Getting Battery autos for local travel is also very convenient and Assi Ghat, Kashi Vishwanath Mahadev temple etc are very easy to visit from here. Shivala Ghat is just 80-100 meters from Ratnakar Bhawan. Rahulji arranged our evening boat ride with pick-up & drop at Shivala ghat. Strongly recommend for comfortable stay at Kashi (Varanasi) with a genuine feel of Kashis' heritage culture.
