Mesón de Leyendas Breakfast & Downtown

I recently stayed at this fantastic hotel in Valle de Bravo, and I was thoroughly impressed. The cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable, and the service was top-notch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Surrounded by breathtaking nature, the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The spa was a wonderful addition, offering a range of relaxing treatments. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Valle de Bravo.

My wife, daughter and I decided to rest for a few days in Valle de Bravo. My daughter chose Meson de Leyendas. We were very pleased. Overall, the staff was wonderful. Lupita and Francisco were extraordinary and genuinely kind. The kitchen staff provided great meals consisting of fresh ingredients. And the maintenance team kept the place very clean. The ambiance is quite relaxing and romantic.

The service experience was amazing, they even wash and clean your car. The jacuzzi is comfortable with hot water. Beds and pillows have pretty good comfort. 100% approved. Good location, 5 min to the downtown. Restaurant food, pizza and breakfast is tasteful

Beautiful hotel. Flowers and greenery in the courtyard and great decor. Room very comfortable. Convenient location can walk everywhere in town. Parking across the street included. Breakfast was very good and service was excellent. They have a spa in house we didn’t try but people seem to enjoy it. Small boutique hotel.

The musty smell of mildew was overwhelming. And the noise was crazy. I don't understand how this hotel is rated so high. The hotel rooms are all centered around a courtyard with the hotel restaurant, which plays loud music until 10pm. Even after that music stopped, other music started until 2am. We could also hear every step and conversation of the people in the room above us. Negatives: mildew, smell, noise, miniscule bathroom, no wash cloths or hand towels Positives: staff was super nice and helpful. Good breakfast included. Appreciated parking. They give everyone earplugs because of the noise problems every night, which helped but didn't make it an enjoyable experience. In retrospect, we would not stay in Centro.

Liked · The staff were excellent, upon arrival the manager pointed out that we'd booked a pet friendly room across the street and proceeded to show us the other rooms that were available if we'd like a free upgrade which afterwards we chose the pet friendly room as we were parked in the courtyard right outside of our room and it had a king-sized bed. There was also plenty of electrical outlets. The staff were always asking if everything was ok and even washed our rental car before we left. The meals in the restaurant were very good and the pizza oven in the restaurant was unique and the pizza tasty. We also booked a tour to see the Monarch butterflies through the hotel which included a cab to take us there, who waited until we were set to return to the inn and our entrance to the reserve. The only thing not included was the optional horse to take us up the mountain which were 300 pesos each. Disliked · The lighting in the room could have been a bit better, especially in the closet area and a chair in the room would have been nice. The hot water in the bathroom wasn't cold but never got "hot"

We were happy to stay at this cute little hotel as the location is great for walking around . We drove to Valle de Bravo checked into this hotel and left our car in the parking lot across the street and as parking is a real problem in Valle we walked everywhere . The hotel has a cute little courtyard with a lot of plants . Breakfast was included and was quite good . Our room was facing the street where yes , you can hear the street noises , but at night it was pretty quiet so we were not bothered . Our room was funny ( a large bathtub next to the bed ) There was a little bunk bed with a ladder which I imagine a young child would think it’s a lot of fun . I think the people who run the hotel also arrange visits to the Monarch Butterflies … at the right time of year . Altogether a simpatico unpretentious place to stay while in Valle de Bravo

We came to see the monarch butterflies, but there is so much more to Valle de Bravo. The hotel was fabulous. The service was great The food delicious and the staff was wonderful. Valle de Bravo is a Puebla Magico that lives up to it’s designation. We booked transportation to and from Mexico City, the butterfly tour and massages through the hotel. They were excellent.

This small hotel is quaint and luxurious. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant on site is fantastic and very reasonably priced. There's parking available if you drive, which is well needed in this town, there's not very much available during the day. Close walking distance to everything in town. Lovely courtyard in the middle of the hotel. I had an excellent massage one evening that was cheap and as good and relaxing as any spa in the US. The one detractor is that during the day there's a lot of street noise, but they provide earplugs free of charge, which was a great solution. After about 8 at night the road noise quiets down to nothing and doesn't start up again until about 7:30 the next morning. If you think you'll be taking a lot of mid day naps or sleeping in until noon, I suppose this might be a problem, (though the ear plugs are your solution) but it certainly wasn't an issue for us.
