Hotel la Morera

This hotel was our base for walking in Aiguestortes/vall d'Aneu. It is a fabulous hotel and we’ll definitely be returning. Rooms were modern, spacious, very clean and comfortable (television, powerful shower, fluffy towels, personal safe, cushions, small sofa – and that’s just the standard room!) and there’s a great view from the balcony. There was a wide choice for the buffet breakfast, and nothing ran out no matter what time you arrived. We hadn’t booked half-board, but decided to have dinner at the hotel the first night. The set menu – 3 courses + dessert – was a mere 22 euros, and the food was exquisite. We ended up having dinner there every night, and it never disappointed. The water in the swimming pool was a bit cold (for me), but in the middle of summer it was nice and refreshing after a day’s walking. All the staff were friendly, efficient and helpful; there’s plenty of parking; a welcoming bar ... The ONLY inconvenience we had was that the internet signal in our room was somewhat erratic – but that could also be due to being in a valley in the mountains. The signal was a lot better in the bar. Overall – excellent price-quality and highly recommended.

Fuimos 12 personas a hacer montañismo, en Agosto 2022. De los mejores hoteles de Montaña, Con una cocina de calidad, unos platos espectaculares, y postres.. La Lubina y el Filiberto, lo más pedido..Lo único la piscina el agua muy fria. En general muy bien. Recomendable. Tengo ganas de volver.

Hemos estados alojados durante un fin de semana, ha sido una grata sorpresa, muy limpio, trato muy agradable y comida casera buenísima, repetiremos si lugar a dudas. La distancia hasta el primer telesillas de esquí de Baqueira está a 20 minutos, así que es ideal en todos los sentidos.
