Our stay at Vakkaru Maldives was truly exceptional, with every moment thoughtfully curated. Naaish, our butler, was outstanding, as was Chef Ushan at Vakku Grill, which became our favorite dining spot. The head sommelier added depth to our experience with fascinating insights into island challenges. The staff’s genuine hospitality, impeccable service, and world-class dining made this trip unforgettable. We are already looking forward to returning one day to relive these magical moments. Excellent, exceptional Very Very good destination and resort, we had an incredible time and the staff excellent, friendly everyone speak English, our butler Cora make our experience so special she help us with our reservation or anything that we needed, the resort is very good also for families with children they have and amazing kid club. And from the day one everyone knows our name and give to us very personal experience, breakfast, lunch, dinners etc. All excellent

beautiful big island, very green. good new hotel, with excellent service, newly renovated, clean, cozy, good kids club. we liked everything very much. The butler is very attentive to all requests. nice coral reef at water villas. Overall we recommend it.

Absolutely amazing! A beautiful resort, wonderful and friendly staff, from the management team to all of the support staff. The food was great, the accommodation was first class. Exceptional! All the staff were fabulous, but I would like to call out Haneef, Evon and our butler, Sato. They made our stay so much more special.

We have just returned from a 6 day stay at the wonderful Vakkaru Maldives. Returning to the Maldives for the 16th time it was not easy to pick a resort and we are so happy we chose to return to Vakkaru. It was our second trip to this lush stunning resort. Vakkaru is blessed with a wonderful reef, three blue holes and incredible snorkeling opportunities. The lush green natural island has the most wonderful walking and cycling paths, as the island is shaded so beautiful. The impeccable service needs a write up of its own. Upon stepping foot on Vakkaru we immediately knew we had made the right decision to return. The warm welcome and friendly staff made us feel right at home, from the welcoming resort GM Teddy Susanto Wiryawan and our incredible butler Naaish who went above and beyond to make our stay perfect . We stayed in a beautiful one bedroom over water pool residence. With so much lounging space I did not want to leave the deck. One of the advantages of this category villa is that it gets almost a full day of sunlight and is right by the blue hole which is incredible for snorkeling. During our snorkeling experiences we saw schools of Jackfish, blacktip reef sharks, batfish, butterfly fish, parrotfish and so much more. While walking on the jetty we spotted a nurse shark, spotted eagle rays, stingrays and a variety of schooling fish. The dining experiences at Vakkaru were incredible. A big shout out to Chef Ushan for all the delicious food and who went out of his way to accommodate my seafood allergy with special replacements. Thank you to all the staff at Vakku, Isoletta, Ammany, Lagoon Bar and the barbecue at Vaaku beach We booked a sandbank picnic for one of our days there which was the prettiest set up we have experienced ( this was our third sandbank/ island picnicin the Maldives). Thank you to Shaante, Muanis and Nadey for the memorable sandbank picnic setup. A huge thank you to all the friendly staff at the island: Hanna, Ankita, Gie, Renu and Ana from the spa. Last but not least to our housekeeper Chilli, who together with our incredible butler Naaish, left a beautiful surprise for us for our anniversary by decorating the room, and for taking care of us during our stay. It was a memorable trip filled with wonderful memories and we would love to return soon.
