We're handily located just off the A50 at the junction with Derby Road - so while the hotel may not be our quietest, you're in a great position to hit the road and discover everything the area has to offer. Take a flutter at Uttoxeter Racecourse, or a wild ride at Alton Towers. Step back in time at Sudbury Hall and the Museum of Childhood, or explore the ruins of Croxden Abbey. After a busy day, head back for a tasty meal in our restaurant and unwind in your spacious room and extra-comfy bed. Please note, there is a service station and a lorry park next door, both of which operate around the clock.

Recently stayed here, I was informed the restaurant was not available which was ok. Usually eat here but will visit when re open. Other than that usual perfect stay. The staff are fantastic and always make me feel welcome. Would always recommend to stay here.

Lovely hotel, very quiet even though where it is positioned. Slept lovely. Biggest bonus is the air con! I’ve never stayed anywhere where the air con actually works well! When we entered the room it was lovely and cool just how we like! Despite the restaurant being refurbished a complimentary breakfast was offered and this was lovely.

Clean room but kept awake by noisy extractor fan. The guaranteed good nights sleep didnt happen ! Very limited breakfast options but this is probably due to ongoing refurbishment of the restaurant

Worst premier inn I've ever stayed in. The room wasn't clean and we found rubbish from previous guests in the room in the lampshade and under the bed. Bathroom and sheets were not the freshest. The beds were so uncomfortable that myself and my husband didn't get a good night's sleep either night. I contacted premier inn who didn't uphold my request for a good night guarantee as they made me aware I'd have had to have made a complaint at reception rather than their customer services. They think the hotel would have been able to correct the issues however I don't think that would be the case as they wouldn't have moved rooms

They put us in the other side to reception where all the building work is getting done which I asked not to be put, as we went down the corridor there were sheets and towels all over the floor and staines all over the carpet. Our room was dirty and I found mouse dropping on the carpet I also wrote my name in the dust. We went back to reception with the mouse dropping and they changed our room to a better room on reception side. The staff were very good and were horrified at the mouse dropping. The new member of staff was particularly good. We have to say that they need to close the side that they are working on as it is unbelievable they expected you to stay in a room on that side

Great stay after a trip to alton towers. Ladies on reception Lou and Amy were very friendly, accommodating and could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. Top service. Only downside was lack of restaurant but lou and Amy yet again came up with alternative solutions

Stayed here after a long day at Alton towers, checked in by Amy & Lou who made us feel very welcome. They were in very high spirits and couldn’t do enough for us. The prem plus room was superb and even had a coffee machine which was great. Would definitely recommend

We came when the restaurant was undergoing some renovations, but all sorts of complimentary extras were provided to compensate for the inconvenience, alongside recommendations for alternative places to eat. It was a joy to have a bath in the room, so often overlooked but the best way to end a busy day, with a warm soak, before snuggling up on the most comfortable of beds. Through it all Becky was extraordinarily helpful, to make sure we were truly comfortable & had everything we needed.

A wonderful one night stay, due to visiting Alton towers. We checked in Monday night by Amy & Lou and they were phenomenal Thankyou! I lost my room key and was promptly issued another with a smile, which goes a long way! I stayed in a premier plus room which was clean and enjoyed all the added extras! Thanks again for a clean and enjoyable stay :)
