The worst hotel experience ever. Scum of the earth.bad rooms, no real facilities. Just close proximity to the shores . That's it. It's been overpriced since it's start . Management staff is beyond doubt rude. Bring down your price and raise your standard.

If you are visiting Murudeshwar definitely you can chose RNS residency as your place of stay. We decided on it and it was perfect for our group of 10 people. On 25th December'24 we checked in by 1:25 pm and had 4 rooms for us. Rooms are very clean and the view facing the sea shore just made us to spend as much time there as we can. My in-laws and my sister-in-law's family all including 3 senior citizens in the group had a wonderful view to enjoy. Murudeshwar being small town we had the temple to explore and Gopuram to visit. By evening before sunset all of us went to Gopuram and as the elderlies were tired so we dropped them at RNS and then rest 7 of us(4 cousins and we 3 : sister-in-laws, brother-in-law) went to explore the evening market. Kids before leaving for evening market also went to the swimming pool which remains open until 6 pm. Dinner at RNS is of very good quality, recommend to everyone. 7 of us went for temple darshan in the evening however set of parents were tired to come out on 25th. 4 rooms (set of 2 interconnected) were booked with 2 extra beds which were of very good quality. As RNS is next to the statue so 2nd trip was possible early morning at 6:30 am on 26th Dec. Sister-in-law with her husband took set of parents for temple darshan and I took charge of kids for breakfast. The food at breakfast is very tasty and freshly prepared. Idlis, upma, rawa halwa and rest of all were very tasty. As we had to check out for our trip to Udupi the healthy, tasty breakfast made all of us happy to set for our trip in the van. The van driver for Udupi trip was also suggested from RNS reception desk whom we found very good. Tempo traveller charged us INR 9000/- for the trip from RNS residency to Udupi via 3 different tourist stoppages.

The only positive point is its location - it's nearness yo Murudeshwar Temple and sea facing rooms. The hotel is in very bad shape and is in a need of renovation as the rooms are in very bad shape. But it seems management is enjoying the very high tariff without spending penny. There is very less water pressure in toilet with a result that shower doesn't function properly. The fridge in room is a vintage model. Buffet breakfast is of bland food, they serve only south indian items, sambar was just tasteless. We have to order tea 4 times to get a cup of hot tea. The menu attached shows the high price of food items. One Roti costs Rs 95 similarly a humble tea costs Overall it is waste if money.

I am a regular traveller and RNS residency is one if the few hotels where I could spend a comfortable stay. The property is very close to the temple at stone throw distance , The property is very close to sea shore. Just sit in your balcony watch the sea waves, hear the sound of waves and the beautiful vision of the temple. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with good variety. The reception desk and the restaurant staff are very courteous. The rooms were very clean and neat. I did read some adverse reviews about this property but as far as my personal experience it was one of the very good hotels I stayed. I will recommend this hotel for my friends .

We are a group of 13 friends with spouses stayed in this hotel.its an old hotel and many rooms are under renovation. the rooms allotted to us are clean & functional. Nothing great to talk about rooms. But what stands out is their location ( just behind the main temple and facing the sea) service and fantastic food. Only for their service and food taste, you can choose to stay in this hotel. But we felt that the tariff of 5100.00 per room ( Sea Facing) is a bit pricey.

Not recommended.. Rooms are very old,no king bed available,swiming pool in not maintained properly, breakfast is not good comparing to the rates they charge for the room,only advantage is the view from the balcony other than that it's not worth for 5k per night
