Anum Hostel

The room was basic with 2 twin beds which is all we need. However, to access the outlets, we had to literally pull out one bed. I believe they changed the configuration of the beds so the other bed doesn’t have access to the outlets. Also, during our 3 nights there, the corridor light was out and it was never fixed. I could hardly see where to insert the key. Not a big deal but we informed them the first night we were there. They provided your personal dish, cup, cutlery in a bag which I like since we are now responsible for washing our own dishes. Breakfast was basic with delicious toasted croissants, ham and cheese and coffee and juice. My only complaint would be the shared bathroom. No blower or hair dryer. On our last night, the water pressure was low and water wasn’t hot. Location was great, right on St Martin, the main avenue. Frederico managing the front desk was sweet, very patient and helpful. It was a pleasant stay.

What a little hidden gem - from my perspective. An American traveler who has never stayed in a Hostel. From a friendly Augustine who greeted us, to a lovely evening clerk who had great dinner suggestions. It was cozy, clean and has a very convenient location
