Such an amazing, private and a great place for family to unwind. All the staff are very professional and always willing to help. Andrew received us late at night and ensured that our dinner was ready. The rooms were spacious and with a beautiful ocean view. Andrea managed our site visit maximizing the short stay even though we vaguely had a plan. In two days and half we managed to visit seven main Zanzibar touristic sites. Lastly, Barbara captured the moments by providing short notice photo shoot at a good rate, and we mostly enjoyed her company through out our site visit. These are memories we’ll treasure as a family.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic place for four weeks, and I cannot recommend it enough! The location is unbeatable— right on the beach with stunning views, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. There are great amenities, including a lovely swimming pool and a fitness space. The food is delicious with a variety of options to choose from (the chef even made us specific vegetarian meals on request). Last but not least, the staff was amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant experience (special thanks to Dennis who helped us with an issue we had at the post office, even on his day off). I 100% guarantee you'll love it!

The hotel’s location is perfect if you're looking for peace and quiet. You can catch beautiful sunrises from here. The hotel itself was wonderful, and our family room was spacious, with three beds and a private bathroom. There’s also a pool and a restaurant on-site. Breakfast was included, with a nice variety of fruit, hot beverages, juice, eggs, and bread—a big and delicious meal to start the day. The menu also had a great selection, and the tuna is caught by the owners themselves. The rooms were cleaned daily, and they sprayed in the evenings to keep insects away. The staff was always very kind and greeted us with a smile. They also made sure that locals didn’t disturb the guests and were always attentive to our needs. While there isn’t much to do around the location area. But the hotel offers wind and water sports like windsurfing, kayak and paddle. You can also book plenty of tours through the hotel. In our case, we took the Spice Tour and visited Stone Town, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed and learned a lot from. We had a wonderful experience at the hotel, and we hope to return someday.

I think that in the dictionary if you look for paradise you will come across the address of this hotel! The whole team is very careful to make your stay as wonderful as it is, each request is taken into account. I don't think there's a single thing I didn't like here. If you come to Zanzibar and book elsewhere, it is because you want to complicate your holiday!

Went for Stand up paddle bording (SUP) with Moe at AVO hotel. Absolutelyincredible experience with exceptional service from Moe. We didnt stay there but the accommodation looked very nice and pricing is great for the value. Would highly recommend to anyone.
