Hotel Resort El Montico - Singular's Hotels

Servicio bueno, restauración demasiado caro, instalaciones: el exterior yla rrecepción bonitas pero no tiene ascensor y las escaleras son demasiado estrechas y empinadas para subir con el equipaje.

Very expensive, lovely looking hotel but no substance, horrible attitude from the restaurant manager, good honesty from the workers though! Fridge/freezer in room totally iced so couldn’t use it. Okay but not worth the money. Steak was horrible, really bad quality, hardly cooked, other food was expensive and okay, nothing more. The waiter knew exactly that it wasn’t right, took it back and said he would change it (I asked for a vegetable dish instead). However, I then discovered that the manager would not change it as we had tried to eat some of the meat and ate a few chips and peppers. He said he would come back with a solution but did not so we just left. He at least managed to take the steak of the bill, which was still the most expensive bill for the entire holiday (and we had eaten very well elsewhere for half the price). They still included bread etc., which we hadn’t asked for and hadn’t arrived anyhow. The swimming pool was okay, the location good as a halfway between Alicante region and Asturias right next to the motorway. We had to wait a couple of hours for the room, and we had arrived after check-in (around 1610 and it had opened at 1500). We were given a drink but it would have been nice to have had the room as we have young children, who had been travelling for many hours.

Es más bien un hotel de 3 estrellas. Deben de cuidar más la limpieza y estado de las habitaciones pero sobretodo la amabilidad. El recepcionista no sabe tratar al cliente. El check in es a partir de las 16h, pero si llegas antes, está claro que no te van a dar la hab pero hacer el pre y luego dar solo la llave....la chica de la tarde tenía una cola....ella misma decía q no entendía porque no lo hacía el compañero. Le pedí que nos diera los tickets para el uso de la pisci y me contestó q no, evidentemente, no me conformé, éramos 4 familias las que nos hospedamos de paso, 1 noche, 16h de uso, con niños, sólo tenía q darme unos tickets de papel porq es una piscina a la que puede acceder gente externa, está abierta al público, me dijo que me pasara en un rato ....y no llegaron. Con este señor tuve algún encuentro más, ya digo q la amabilidad, no era su fuerte, pero igual en cafetería, será el carácter de ellos. No usamos el restaurante solo la feteria q allí comimos y calidad /precio/servicio justillo, lo q pasa es q alrededor no hay nada, está apartado del pueblo, a unos 4km, hay q coger el coche si o si, por lo q sales del paso
