Hotel Grand Bhagwat, Udaipur

As a foreign tourist our visit was complicated by none of the staff speaking English This lead to us being overcharged. The breakfast said complementary and had no price next to it. We were charged for it and we were given significantly more food than we were asked for. Furthermore the bathrooms stank of sulphur (rotten eggs) and the pool was disgusting. Don't know if the confusion would have been a problem for people who can communicate with staff but we felt we had been deliberately mislead and overcharged.

The bed was uncomfortable, the towels were old (holes) and rough. The person who works at the pool area was not friendly with us. We asked for breakfast for my daughters and it turned out who didn't order from the kitchen, he only did so 20 minutes after placing his order... There are many pigeons near the pool... they should

One of the worst staying experience ever. Firstly the location of hotel is in a narrow street which is not suitable for the car. Parking issue. Then they took 20 mins just to give room. Typical claustrophobic rooms having no fresh air circulation that creates bad smell. Staff was least interest to listen any thing. The last and the most important incident was the staff want to pay the restaurant bill which we didn’t ordered. At the time of checkout they told that we had a pending bill but we didn’t order anything from their resturant. We told them that we are getting late but they listen and after 30 mins of argument they accept that they made a bill by mistake. Its like we told them that the bill time is 8:30 and we check in at 10 in night still they want us to pay the fake bill.
