Great hotel in Ubon with A/C, comfortable rooms, great breakfast. Beds were a bit hard. Bathrooms had nice showers with the on demand hot water so you adjust the heat setting for the hot water on the box and then adjust the mix of hot water and cold water on the handle. This is typical of Europe but Americans may not know how to use it. Service was good and the location was perfect for our stay. We had a "family" room with two beds and had plenty of space.

This could have been great experience but they tried to cut costs too much. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on the floor. You can easily hear the people in the rooms down the hall from your room. The shower didn’t drain properly and there was black mold in much of the grout. The toilet paper dispenser uses two square sheets instead of a roll. There is no fan in the bathroom so towels don’t dry as they should. Again, they missed the opportunity to be the best in the area.

I picked the hotel due to in the heart of the city and convenience for moving around. The room is spacious and clean with necessary toiletries. The room air condition was quiet which gave me a good night sleep. Shower is equipped with hot individual heater and minimum pressure. There was 24 hours front desk reception to serve all may be needed. There is coffee shop that serve breakfast which beyond expectation. Their local dishes were tasty, Kai Kra Ta (fried eggs in the pan with their toppings) and Vietnamese noodles soup with local sausage which is a must tried.
