Country Inn Two Harbors

Great family hotel- putting putt golf, pool and hottub and sauna were great- clean spacious rooms- comfy beds, good breakfast- Russ checked us in and was so nice- great advice for going exploring- Jake and Leah were helpful- would definitely stay here again!!

Staff very friendly & helpful. As expected, the room was quite acceptable overall. However, unfortunately, at 1st night bedtime, we became aware a bathroom door hinge was squeaky. We chose to wait until check out to bring that to staff attention. She graciously apologized. They have a delightful, small front porch which we enjoyed often. They also have an attractive, well maintained mini-put layout with several putters readily available...cool! We really appreciated that the property, while accessed directly off the highly travelled Highway 61, is essentially a full city block off the highway. Creating easy, stress-free access to the front door, and with their ample parking lot. Our 1st time ever at Two Harbors & further up the North Shore. We plan to return next Summer. Including staying there one night longer than this trip. Thank you, Country Inn!

We stayed two night this past weekend at the Country Inn in Two Harbors. The pool area & the rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable. The staff are very friendly & accommodating, they treated us like human beings & not numbers. The breakfast was tasty & had a nice variety, loved there was coffee available all the time. This will definately be our go to place to stay when we are in Two Harbors.

The rooms are roomy. My mom was able to get around the room with her walker. The beds and room were comfortable and clean. For breakfast they have pancake machine, Jimmy Deans breakfast sandwiches, juices, fruit, fruit cups, cereals, etc. I would say they had more than other establishments. The hot tub was very relaxing. The staff went above and beyond from the front desk to the cleaning crew. There is restaurants, laundry, and a full grocery store within a couple of blocks. We would stay here again.

Thank you for your help. We were driving back to MSP in the snowstorm and almost every place in Two Harbors was closed. I had received a call from business clients and needed to get on the internet. We stopped at Country Inn and asked if we could use their internet. They were so welcoming and offered us use of their lobby and computer for as long as we needed. The manager introduced himself and asked if we needed anything else and updated us on weather and road conditions. With that kind of generosity and kindness I will recommend Country Inn to all my travelers.

The country inn in two harbors Minnesota is the best kept secret.l!!! It is such a nice place to stay. It is very clean very safe very quiet and comfortable. And they provide free breakfast. It is set back from the main road with trees around that helped muffle any traffic sounds. I have never stayed in such a quiet place. I was a woman traveling alone and I felt so safe. For families who are looking for a place to go? This is also a wonderful family hotel as well. They have an adorable, mini golf course, a pool and places to walk to and fun this to check in Two Harbors. NOTE: this is a 2 level hotel. Keep in mind there’s no elevator. When you book your stay, if you have trouble with stairs, simply request a first floor room. It is such a warm cozy place. Reasonable prices and welcoming staff You won’t be sorry you stayed I will be returning in the future. Thank you Country Inn for such a nice stay

Motorcycles Not Welcome We stayed at the Country Inn of Two Harbors. We paid for two rooms for a total of 3 people and two motorcycles pulling trailers. We arrived early and parked using two parking spaces and went in to tell the desk person that we would be back later to check in, so far all is good. A few hours later we stop back to check in and fill out all the normal paperwork. This is where it goes wrong, the general manager Russ when he found out we were on motorcycles told us to park both bikes in one parking space and we would have done that if we were not pulling trailers. As soon as he found out about the trailers he told us we had to park in the north parking lot. The north lot is away from the main building and not nearly as convenient to use. We tried to argue that we paid for two rooms and we should have two parking spots, his response was, it’s our policy. Ok we moved to the north lot. But not happy about it. So this motel is not motorcycle friendly and I advise you pass it by. Hotel review The outside looks new but the inside does not match. Older motel on the inside, the door to our room stuck and you had to push hard to open and close it. Continental breakfast mainly pre-package muffins, and breakfast sandwiches that you could heat up in the microwave. They did have a pancake machine but with all the other people trying to have breakfast it was a wait. If you have a room with a view of the woods thats just a euphemism for a view of the cemetery next door. At least the neighbors in the woods were quiet.

Pool & hot tub were perfect to end our long day! The bed was very comfortable. AC was easy to adjust fan & room temp. Breakfast was great too - lots of options! Vicki (the friendly, breakfast & guest services extraordinaire) made sure we had food & made suggestions for how to spend our time in the area: Tettegouche High Falls, Palisade Head, Split Rock. We will be back!

This lovely hotel turned one night of a busy business trip into a magical, restorative vacation night. Spotlessly clean, including the pool--yes you dare, and then into the hot tub and wood lined sauna with water and rocks for steam. The indoor pool room is kept toasty-turning your mood "hygge." Rooms are comfortable and spotless. Staff are efficient and genuinely helpful. The young man who checked us in sent us off to The Rustic Inn (down the road about 10 miles) where we had a lovely fish dinner (fresh Walleye) and yummy strawberry rhubarb pie. Morning check out was a breeze with Abbs. Thoughtful breakfast choices. This place is worth it.
