Very pleased with the room, good wifi, plenty of towels, air con worked and shower fine. Location is very quiet and near to Kakum NP. Restaurant service was variable, some very good staff, others gave the impression that they'd prefer to be elsewhere. Menu is extensive BUT a lot of it was unavailable. If this is the case then update the menu with a sticker rather than have guests play a game of "is this available ?" Yes / No

A welcome respite after a hot and steamy night in the jungle tree houseat Kakum. Loved the A/C, comfortable bed and the really clean swimming pool. The restaurant food was ok- not great but not poor either. Breakfast was included. Friendly and helpful staff.

Once you get passed the grumpy manager, the staff are lovely. The people in the kitchen & restaurant could not have been nicer. We had our meals on the verandah outside the restaurant and it was lovely. Be careful when picking a room - while they are all clean (a little dated) some of them have solar heating for their water which means there really isn't any hot water at all. So if you want a hot shower ask for a room with the electric water heaters.

We were a group of 8 staying here for a total of 4 nights. Mine and my husband’s room was a lovely twin room, very clean and modern. Comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning also a ceiling fan, fridge and bottled water. The bathroom consisted of a walk in shower, nice towels but the water was only warm. Our rooms were serviced every day. Lots of storage space, drawers and a wardrobe that had no pole for hanging the hangers on! I counted 10 electrical sockets in our room, all took UK 3 pin plugs. Food was good, usually chicken and fish, rice and pasta. Local dishes were very tasty. Breakfast was eggs, baked beans and toast. WiFi was hit and miss in our room but worked well in Reception or the Dining Room. Lovely friendly staff. A bottle of Ghanaian beer cost approximately £1. Recommended

We moved to this hotel after two terrible nights at Hans Cottage. This hotel is a huge step up in quality and value for money. Rooms and the buildings were modern and clean with hot water, air con and ceiling fan. And location is quiet so had a good nights sleep. Fast Wi-Fi available across all parts of hotel. Breakfast was a good standard, omelette, toast, sausage and baked beans. Would suggest they add some fresh fruit. Dinner was also very good. The young lady who waitressed dinner and breakfast was one of the best hotel staff we found anywhere in Ghana. Polite, happy attitude, helpful. Food and drinks prices were reasonable. This hotel is cheaper and to a higher standard especially when compared to Hans Cottage so definitely a very good for us. Additionally it’s closer to Kakum park so makes sense to stay here.

We stayed here for 4 nights during our month-long Ghana journey and had an overall pleasant experience. Rainforest Lodge is located on the main road to Kakum NP but was fairly quiet despite its location. The rooms are of adequate size, have a refrigerator and quick-cooling AC. The WiFi comes and goes - adequate for emails and some surfing but can be frustrating at times. The bathroom is small and they are quite stingy with towels. I had to ask several times for an additional towel which they brought to our room after I requested it. We had our meals at the lodge and we were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality. After a few days we had exhausted the vegetarian options but a few were good enough to order again. The servers were very pleasant and helpful. Undoubtedly the best lodging option if you plan to visit Kakum NP.

Situated on the main road, but quiet. Not gated, but with lots of parking. Rooms comfortable, but with a rather dodgy electronic locking system (ours could only be locked by getting the master key card from Reception (they were happy to give me this!). Rooms clean and everything working. Swimming pool nice and well maintained. Good sitting place in a pool bar, but a bit of a struggle to get service. Overall a good place to stay if visiting them national park.
