I had a perfect stay at Travelodge Twickenham. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well-located. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service from Thav at reception. Thav was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure my stay was as enjoyable as possible. It’s rare to encounter such friendly and attentive service, and it truly made a difference. Highly recommend this hotel!

Large scale construction work and scaffolding on the front of the hotel building meant it was very noisy with drilling and workmen working directly in front of our window from 8 am

Stayed in a room that had grubby walls, a broken curtain, chewing gum stuck all over the room & a blocked sink Best they could offer was a free breakfast if I ever visited again

The staff have been friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They gave us extra towels and replaced our lost key card with no hassle. We tried the chicken masala and the cauliflower curry and it was very tasty. this was an absolute bonus to us as the establishment already does its job well as a budget hotel. Also we arrived a little bit early but they let us check in anyway which I really appreciated. In our room there were only 2 power outlets so bear that in mind if you have a lot of devices. The TV has some decent channels too

This is a typical Travelodge, no frills. I would say you get what you pay for, but on rugby international days, the room price more than trebles. Check in procedure was painless, we didn't visit the bar or restaurant so can't comment on those. Here are some observations on how I feel the room could be improved: - On entering the room was far too hot with the heating turned up, needed to be turned down or even turned off. - There was no plug socket near the bed. I suffer from Sleep Apnea and have to wear a mask connected to a machine when I am in bed. Because there was no socket near the bed and lead on the machine wasn't long enough to reach any of the other points in the room, I had to visit a local shop and buy an extension lead - don't really want to have to bring one of those with me when I am travelling light. - There used to be 'pod' chairs in the rooms - this one didn't have one and as both me and my wife needed to do some work, one of us had to sit on the bed, which wasn't very practical when using a laptop. - We originally booked for 2 nights but decided to extend it by arriving a day early. It wasn't possible to do this online, I was advised that I needed to create a new booking for the extra night. Not a major problem, but on the 2nd day, I was required to visit reception and to get the room key extended to the 2nd booking, so we didn't have to move rooms. Just a bit of a 'faff'. - There are no bedside tables so would be useful if the storage areas cut out of the headboard were a bit bigger as it's not possible to fit much in, with the current size. - There were no shelves/cupboards for smaller clothes items - I think they used to have these. - A few coat hooks on the wall just inside the door would be handy, to save having to use up the few coat hangers that are provided - especially if you are hanging up wet coats next to dry clothes. Saying all that, the room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was very good!
