Hotel Der Rindererhof

Another fantistic holiday! We have been visiting Hintertux and Der Rindererhof regularly for years and there is a reason we keep going back... the hotel is brilliant, perfect location, fantastic food, clean comfortable rooms and wonderful service from all of the staff. The spa, children's play room and new gym are an added bonus. The staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. Our sons birthday was the day we arrived and there was a lovely cake and table decorations waiting for him at our evening meal We stayed over Easter and there were a cute little boxes full of treats for everyone on the Sunday morning. Lovely little token gestures that really add a special touch. You get a voucher for the buses which means if there is a bad weather day you can hop on the bus and head down to Mayrhofen for free. We had a super day down there at the pool, definitely worth a visit, and another day in Zell am Ziller, brillaint play/adventure area for children, when there were high winds on the Glacier. The food was excellent, great variety and choice for breakfast and a super evening meal with options for everyone. There was a children's buffet each night and their food was also great (not the nuggets and chips you often find) but lots of options including pasta, chicken, schnitzel, vegetables etc... The rooms are big, clean and comfortable with lovely views of the mountain from the balcony. There has been lots of work & upgrades to the hotel over the past few years and the family rooms are being revamped this summer so we are really looking forward to seeing those again next time. It's a home away from home for us and we will be back again next year. Thank you Andrea, Lara, Elke and all of the team for another brilliant week!

Always have a 5 Star stay at Der Rindererhof. The staff, and family, are all very welcoming and always go the extra mile to ensure you are well looked after. The rooms are great, the new gym is an excellent added bonus and the food is perfect (and plentiful). The only negative is that I couldn't stay longer!

A great place, in a location that couldn't be better. The room was spacious, solidly decorated and clean. The staff was professional, friendly and always at your service. The hotel's cuisine was exceptional. Special compliments to the chef for the fish specialties. I avoid alcohol, but I noticed an excellent collection of wines, which are kept in special conditions. In a word, a hotel beyond my expectations.
