Wonderful and friendly hostel at a great quiet and central location. Grocery stores nextdoor, and a range of restaurants within a short walk.
The room was large and comfortable, with hot water in the shower. We enjoyed the courtyard as well.
A special note to the helpful staff, who organized our day trip van, and ordered the taxi to the airport.
All in all a great choice.

Beautiful, quiet, clean, luminous hostel. Very good English spoken and very knowledgeable owner. Hot water for tea/coffee is provided, large communal spaces, western style toilet and quality toiletries. You can use the washing machine for a small fee and there is plenty of space for hanging your clothes. The hostel has a nice coffee shop attached and there is a small convenience store next door.
It is located in a quiet and pretty pedestrian road but it is far away from the city centre although well connected by bus

My stay at New Dap Hostel was fantastic, thanks to the wonderful host, Tuang, and her assistant, Yong Yong. They were incredibly welcoming and made my visit exceptional.
The hostel itself is perfectly designed, offering plenty of spaces to socialize with other travelers or to find a quiet corner to relax or work. The location is also very convenient, with a great handmade noodle restaurant just 150m away and a convenience store right next door.
A highlight for me was the "Journey to the West" tour (100¥), which I'm eager to experience again with my mother, as it was her favorite fairytale. The social atmosphere is great—I shared three bottles of wine with Franco from Italy, a self-proclaimed wine expert who was genuinely impressed by the local wine.
Don't forget to say hello to the friendly golden retriever and the mama cat with her kitten! I look forward to returning and highly recommend this hostel.

One of the most beautiful hostels I have been. It starts with the amazing location, along this very quiet street filled with local restaurants from where you can have many nice walks to enjoy the surroundings. The hostel has many different relax areas, your biggest problem will be choosing whether to chill in the amazing terrace upstairs, in the covered garden or in the super nicely furnished cafe downstairs. The owner speaks the most perfect English and she's so nice and helpful, we didn't have much time to chat but she felt like a very smart and nice person. From the hostel you can get a choice of different day tours to explore the area. What else... It's also very clean, there are rules about quiet time at night... Just a perfect place! Highly recommended

What a heavenly place! Located in a calm neighbourhood just 10/15 mins by car from town, there are plenty of cozy and authentic restaurants nearby. The coffee shop inside the hostel is also very nice and with amazing coffees. The ladies running the hostel are super friendly and helpful in organising tours, transfers, and so on. One of them speaks perfect English, which is not common here. Also what is not common is to have to pay for toilet paper, but maybe it's just a cultural thing. You anyway have free shower gel, shampoo and towel. There are plenty of things to see around, sadly I only stayed one night.

I felt at home. Such a beautiful place. The design, the room, the furnishings... everything is lovingly done. The owner welcomed me very warmly, and it was my first time staying in a dorm. It was fantastic. I slept very well and enjoyed lounging on the terrace. It's very hot right now, so you can enjoy life outside the hostel around 6 p.m. 😃 You meet lots of other travelers from all over the world. So it's not only a great place to relax, but also a great place to exchange information and experiences! I'm so glad I found this place ❤️
And for animal lovers: There are a few cats and a cute dog to cuddle with 🥰
