One of the best experiences. My boyfriend and I went together. We started our day with yoga (his first time) and he mentioned it was the most relaxed he’s felt in years. After that we paddle boarded on the cenote covered in lily pads. Also road bikes around and saw some animals on the property. Took a tour of the underground cenotes which was by far the highlight of the trip. The pools are also great and not crowded at all almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. Dinner we had the best fish we’ve ever had along with tasty drinks. They even had a non-dairy dessert for me! I’d give it more stars if I could!

This place is amazingly an out of time sanctuary for peace and resourcing. It was the fist stage of our trip to Yucatán and the most striking. The staff is so gentil and pleasant. Special thanks to David who made our days by visiting the area, discover cenotes and for all his recommandations. We will miss and will need to come back 😉

Wakax is a true hidden gem among the many standardized resorts in the Cancún–Tulum corridor. It’s a preserved hacienda with rustic charm and authentic natural beauty — a place that offers peace, balance, and a deep connection with nature. The atmosphere is intimate and exclusive, with very few guests sharing the space at the same time, ensuring privacy and tranquility. The decor is excellent, the restaurant serves delicious cuisine, and the service level is very good. The activities are all designed to enhance physical and mental well-being, always integrated with the natural surroundings, which makes the experience even more enriching. There are a few small areas for improvement that could make the stay even better: stronger water pressure in the showers, more consistent access to hot water, and full-length mirrors in the rooms. We also noticed that due to bats, the balcony would sometimes be covered with droppings in the morning, making it less usable — some additional control in that regard would be helpful. That said, our experience at Wakax was truly special and unforgettable. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for something different, immersive, exclusive, and meaningful.

We stayed for 3 nights and would loved to have stayed longer. The rooms are luxurious, spacious and comfortable. They have wonderful views and are cleaned do a very high standard. The food throughout the resort was top notch. Breakfast was interesting, fresh and varied. Lunch and dinner options again were excellent and very well priced for the quality. The pools are immaculate, if slightly cold. The pool service is outstanding, with free water and coffee provided together with a full food and drink menu. The cenotes are just incredible and the use of paddle boards and kayaks a real bonus. The tours of the jungle and cenote were arguably the highlight of the stay. Gonzalo is an amazing guide and was fantastic with our young children to make sure they had the best time. So entertaining and engaging. The staff and service were top tier. Perfect balance of attentive yet relaxed. One of our favourite hotels stays.

It was a wonderful moment, in a peaceful place! The hacienda is amazing, the rooms are so luxurious. Thank to Gonzo the best guide ever , we discovered all the cenotes and the history of the place. We spent a great time and I recommend wakax! Tks for all
