I don't know why this hotel and Trip com sent me this review to full out considering the hotel wouldn't let me check in. The GM lacks communication not only to guest but to her staff as well, as I watched her roll her eyes at the new hire for what reason is beyond me. Front desk staff is very professional and nice. And I've stayed here off and on a year. This hotel was always my last resort mainly because the GM is so rude and how dirty the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms always are. The sheets had crusty stuff like food on it and blood was on the ceiling . I made a reservation through trip.com and a month ago my ex was drunk d he don't get drunk so he was loud. But I couldn't let him drive off. Risking people's lives. But at no time did theyl me he was banned. All I was told was when I checked out there was some noise complaints. (I was not happy with s actions and I apologize to those who made those complaints.
But I get to the hotel and after I arrived and checked in THEN THE GM SAYS IM ON A DO NOT RENT LIST. I found out it was because i let him stay. So now I don't have my money back for this booking and it's been plenty of time for that refund to hit my bank.
As a DUAL AGM / GM of two Marriott hotels i know how this situation should of beenl handledl. Yes he should of been banned but no communication on the management side to my ex or me. So be careful renting here. Seems like this hotel is getting carried away with the scams. The time before this my plane gets delayed and I had my entire family with me. BBooked here and when I got there they had no rooms. They p put my entire family in one room that was filthy. But it had a kitchen in it so they really thought they did something good for me. Not the case at all. I had 2 rooms . 4 beds 2 couches. I got 1 queen bed for my entire family. Totally against fire code. And yet I never got a refund on my other room. . breakfast was okay. The location is horrible. . Management needs to be demoted and then trained. Actually that would not help. She needs to go to college for hospitality. All of the front desk staff knew more than this joke of a GM. Expo Inn your going down hill since she started. I get it's hard to find good help these days. But don't settle for that.
And now onto Trip com. This company keeps promising me 2 more hours and your refund should be released. But that was 5 days ago. They work through *******. So any issue go to Trip .Com and then to ******* then to the hotel. slow process. Nott with that. Makes me want to just book w ******* LONG REVIEW I KNOW BUT BE LEARY OF EXPO INN. It's really gone down Hill
