Bluesun Holiday Village Afrodita

Was a really pleasent stay. The rooms were a good size and we got a big balcony. The pool was really big and a good tempature for kids. They had a little kids pool and a jacuzzi. The beach was right there just down the stairs. We had breakfast and dinner. Nothing to say but good food. So many options. Every night there was fish, chicken and some kind of meat. They had a kids club and after dinner there was kids music and dance. You get a free towel per pers. Parking for 9 euro per day just outside the hotel. 10/10 for the whole stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family hotel! The location is absolutely excellent – close to everything we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, always ready to help with a smile. A special thanks to Petar at reception, who was incredibly helpful and always had a friendly attitude, and to Zaklina, the supervisor, whose professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. Everything was well-maintained, and we appreciated the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for families looking for a convenient and enjoyable place to stay. We’d definitely come back.

It was just a perfect holiday; the staff at reception very professional, helpfull, clean room, good food. Top location at seaside. We shall come again.

Very nice clean hotel. Staff were friendly and polite. Food was a nice selection. Excellent location right on the beach. The pool was large but quite noisy. It didnt bother us but there werent any other English guests when we stayed. The price of drinks was quite high so not many used the bar.

Just back from a week at the hotel and had a great time. The staff are all pleasant and helpful, and the visiting cats are a plus in our books! As per some of the other reviews, I would agree on the cleanliness points- the rooms are modern and in good condition, and while clean for arrival, it didn't seem that there was any cleaning done in the room during the duration of our stay (only a refresh of towels and bedding), would have been grateful for a quick clean of the bathroom and vacuum of the floor in the room. The pool area was starting to look a little worse for wear by the end of the trip, would have benefitted from a clean of the floor, although staff tidy up the area every night to their credit. The cocktails are the bar are not to be missed! We worked though as many as possible over the week and ALL were delicious and well presented. However, we found it strange that you're not permitted to take a drink from the bar into dinner with you, which was a shame as the drinks selection at dinner was fairly limited. We just wanted gin and tonic which was not an option unfortunately, despite there being a range of gins at the bar. Food at breakfast and dinner was good, with a nice variety over the occasions that we dined in. There really is something available to suit all preferences. We did find the service a little slow in terms of getting a drink and paying for these at dinner, although I appreciate that staff are catering for a large number of guests at any one time so slightly unavoidable. Perhaps allowing guests to bring a pre-dinner drink at the bar in with them wouldn't be such a bad idea in that respect... We usually wound up at breakfast in the later part of service (between 9-9:30am) but would often find that things were already being packed up ahead of end of service at 10am which slightly dampened the experience as it would be tricky to get cutlery, the toaster would be put away or drinks would be cleared from the table while we were getting food. Overall, a really good hotel for a relaxing break with pleasant and hard working staff, but there's room for improvement on hospitality I feel.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Afrodita and really enjoyed it. We were upgraded on checking in to a family room right by the pool as I have difficulty with a lot of stairs this was a single story room with just 2 steps in the room to the seating area and a flight of stairs up to the other 2 beds (we didn’t use) and a large balcony looking onto the sea through the trees . It was lovely listening to the waves coming in on balcony or in the room. The beds were very comfortable and we had a lovely bathroom with great shower. Shampoo/body wash in shower and tubes of conditioner(we have never had this in rooms before) body cream shower caps and beauty packs with emery board andQ tips too and plenty of towels so we were pleased with that. All the staff were great and very helpful we were booked half board and the meals were all really nice there was plenty of fresh fruit at both meals and lovely breads too (we really enjoyed fresh omelette for breakfast a couple of times) the dessert at night were wee square pieces of cake and there were plenty to choose from. We felt the bar prices a bit dear it was €8.80 for strawberry daiquiris the first 2 that I had were lovely and frozen as they should be but the next one was just liquid with froth on top and I didn’t like it at all. We also decided on a glass of wine one evening which was €8 and was almost an inch in the bottom of the glass!!! Definitely not worth the money. The hotel is situated a short stroll from the main town which has some lovely restaurants and souvenir shops. We went into Makarska and Podgora either side of tucepi and they were really nice too
