Sapa Dragon Hotel is in a very good spot close to the center of Sapa and has rooms with a beautiful view. The owner and staff are extremely nice and helpful: from laundry to booking bus and tour tickets, everything is easy to do with them. We especially enjoyed the trekking tour recommended by the hotel’s owner. Thank you!!!

I had an enjoyable 2 day stay at this small but well appointed hotel. The manager was exceptionally helpful especially in booking trips and advising about places to visit. The most distinguishing feature of the hotel was being such good value for money and a good location with a high standard of rooms. I would have preferred a choice of breakfast but it was low season and it was decent and freshly cooked.

We had a great stay at the Dragon Hotel. I booked my trip originally through a third party company and needed to change the dates of the trip. The third party company said it’s non-refundable and wouldn’t let me change the dates so I simply extended the trip. Turned out the hotel owner, Kieu Anh tried to reach out to me to accommodate but I didn’t know. She was so kind even before we arrived at the hotel. While we were there, we hiked up Mt. Fansipan and had to leave at 5am on the day of. She woke up early at 5am to make us pho for breakfast before we left. I was so appreciative. On the first night we arrived, I mentioned that I love steamed rice roll so she made it for us for breakfast the last day we were there. She was simply amazing. I was so touched. The room was very nice and spacious with a cute balcony. The location was extremely convenient. While we were there, Kieu Anh also helped us exchange money (she gave us a good rate) and they also have laundry service which was so convenient. If you want a hotel stay with a homestay feel, you must visit the Dragon Hotel.

Sapa Dragon is very good. Newish building, great room and balcony, great location, great breakfast and especially great staff. An easy walk to the Fansipan cable station and other attractions. Staff are wonderful.

We were welcomed by Kieu Anh Chu, as if we were family. Even at the low rate we had booked, she and her family took care of all our needs and questions during our stay. As an older traveling couple, we had concerns about the lack of an elevator inside this facility; however, we were offered a choice of rooms even during a very busy weekend. We took a lower floor but she and her daughters took our bags from us and moved them rapidly up to the 2nd floor of rooms. She even told us they would move us to a front room, which gave us a balcony overlooking the city and the valley, for the last half of our stay once the weekenders had checked out. They even moved our bags across the floor to the other room while we were out visiting the town. She was very helpful and informative in answering our many questions and booking tours on how to best experience Sapa, Fan Si Phan, and Cat Cat Village. We would stay here again should we return. As we left, we even exchanged information and became Friends on Facebook.

A great stay in this hotel. The staff friendly and professional. The room was large and spotless wifi was fast and they had a laptop in the room for you. We also had dinner in the restaurant . the duck and spring rolls were made fresh and we're delicious . I would definitely stay in this hotel again. Breakfast was sufficient though the brewed coffee was the only thing that let this establishment down.

Set near the base of a steep side street just a short walk from the centre of town, Sapa Dragon is in a fabulous location. Close to shops, cafes, restaurants, markets, Tour operators and within walking distance of Cat Cat Village and Ham Rong Mountain. It is a 4 minute stroll to catch a train to the Cable Car that takes you to the top of Fanispan, the highest mountain in Vietnam, or a 40 min steep walk if you wanted to stretch your legs. Our 2nd floor room was spacious, decorated beautifully, had a wooden bathtub and views from the balcony over the rooftops to Ham Rong Mountain. There was only stairs no lift, this did not bother us but may be a concern if you had mobility issues. The Hotel was clean, quiet and the owner was very gracious and eager to cater for any of our needs. Although she had little English she utilised Google translate to make sure she understood our requests. When we arrived we were asked what we would like for our Breakfast and this was presented as requested each morning in the dining room. Not as cheap as some Hotels in Sapa but good value considering location, size of room, cleanliness and friendliness. I can highly recommend this Hotel.

Très bon hôtel, chambre très bien tenues, grandes. Belle salle de bain. Hôtel à taille humaine. La dame qui tient l’hôtel est adorable, très attentionnée et serviable. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel. Un guide est également à disposition pour organiser des trecks
