Villa il Barone

Our stay at the Villa iL Barone last September was one of the major highlights of our trip to the Southern Italy! Rosella, her husband and their whole crew were very courteous, caring and overall incredibly welcoming and hospitable throughout the stay. We will never forget amazing smell and taste of Rosella's pies (different each morning!). Must mention perfect location and the cleanliness of the villa and its beautiful front and back yards. We will definitely book with them again next year when we are going back to the Southern Italy! Grazie mille!

We spent 4 nights in this family run B&B. Owners are super efficient, friendly , helpful and all we requested was given to us. Accomodation is comfortable, clean and close to centre. Breakfast was perfect, delivered in your room at your desired time. I highly recommend this place and will visit you again. Tante grazie e arrivederci alla prossima. Di Vita Malta/Catania ❤️❤️

Located just outside the periphery of the old town, the villa configured as a B&B occupies a serene spot in a quiet residential neighborhood in Tropea. We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the garden, there are (more expensive) rooms available with sea views as well. Our room was elegant, clean and very comfortable with a spacious attached bathroom. The hostess Rosella, despite her limited English, sets a new benchmark for hospitality - always accessible and helpful, always cheerful. She even dropped us to the train station when checking out, as we were leaving by train. Breakfast is a lavish affair, Rosella hauls trays full of goodies to your own balcony every morning and also serves freshly cooked eggs and homemade deserts. This counts amongst our most memorable B&B experiences in all of Italy. Tropea is absolutely beautiful, and the Villa Il Barone a perfect home.

B&B a conduzione familiare. Qui ti senti coccolato, soprattutto grazie alle ottime colazioni preparate dalla signora Rossella. Camera sempre in ordine e pulita. Il centro storico di Tropea è vicinissimo e raggiungibile a piedi. Consigliatissimo!!!!!!

L’accueil de la propriétaire Rossella est parfait! Il s’agit d’un très beau B&B nous avons réservé la chambre communicante car nous étions 3 adultes. Très propre et lits très confortables. A quelques minutes à pied du centre de Tropea. Le petit-déjeuner était très copieux même pour 3 adultes, nous n’avons pas tout mangé ce que Rossella nous a proposé. Le petit déjeuné est servi sur la terrasse de notre chambre qui a une très belle vue. Merci! Bruno P. Canada.

Questa non vuole essere una classica recensione, ma un voler esprimere riconoscenza alla famiglia che ci ha accolti nel loro b&b, Roberto e Rossella. La loro villa è elegantissima, curata nei minimi dettagli. Il bellissimo giardino, un comodissimo parcheggio, cosa da non sottovalutare specialmente per chi come noi viaggia in moto. La stanza confortevole, pulita e arredata con gusto, con un bagno enorme provvisto sia di doccia che di vasca idromassaggio, terrazzo dal quale si gode di una vista stupenda sul centro storico di Tropea dal quale la struttura dista 5 minuti di passeggiata. Un abbraccio particolare alla carissima Rossella che ci ha coccolato e viziato ogni mattina con il suo contagioso sorriso e i suoi dolci fatti in casa....troppo buoniiii e che meraviglia serviti in camera!!!! Senza contare che ha soddisfatto anche qualche nostro piccolo problema alimentare personalizzando la colazione. E grazie a Roberto per i suoi preziosi consigli sempre molto graditi. Siamo rientrati portando nel nostro cuore il ricordo di questo meraviglioso soggiorno con la ripromessa di rivederci al più presto. Baci da Pietro e Doriana. N.b.
