Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort

The hotel is situated in an excellent location. Beautiful rooms and an amazing pool area, nice relaxing atmosphere, good food, clean and great service. Staff were very friendly and helpful and catered to all our needs. Shuttle service to the centre or to the lido is efficient. Keep it up

A wonderful resort near the historic center of Tropea. Our room was clean and spacious, with a wonderful private terrace area, with a view of the sea. The pool section was beautiful. The hotel's breakfast was delicious, special thanks to the lovely Antonio, who baked us delicious omelettes every morning. Warm recommendation for the place and the friendly staff!

For me Michelizia at Tropea is the best resort hotel in Calabria. All the staff is so kind and the restaurant offers delicious dishes with local food and cuisine. Also service is perfect. Tropea has amazing beauty of sea and of historical city, monuments, also of people. 100 percent recommended!

The hotel is situated a 15 min fairly easy walk to the centro storico though there is no footpath. There is a regular flow of people walking on that section of road so it feels quite normal after the first time. Our room was a double standard room and this gave us a decent bedroom and a pretty large room on entry that had a bed settee and ceiling fan. There was a really good sized outside seating area. There are lots of different units and we were on the first floor with stairs and a fairly steep walk up to it. Probably, we would go for a sea view room if we went again. It was very hot while we were there and the air conditioning does not get the room very cool but this may be better than average for the area. The pool and bar area were great and breakfast was very good indeed with a very wide range of options. It is self service but the staff are very pleasant and there is a good friendly atmosphere. The evening options for food looked great but we were so spoilt for choice in town(7 excellent and good value meals) that we did not take up that option this time. What made this hotel special were the reception team led by the Front Office Manager, Mariella. Mariella speaks English and her colleague Dominique seemed very fluent when speaking with the German guests. Mariella was really helpful, friendly and efficient and on two occasions got us into town with the shuttle service even though it was not a scheduled time. They all were working incredibly hard with a “can do” attitude and we really appreciated their efforts. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sentido Michelizia. Three stand-out items were the pools, the food (we couldn't fault the breakfast and dinners - we ate there every day) and the service. Piero, Dominique and the team went above and beyond to make my family feel very welcome at every point. Thank you all.

Our experience at this exquisite location was truly delightful. The staff, particularly Davide and Piero Francesco, exceeded our expectations in making our vacation memorable. The resort itself is stunning, equipped with all the amenities we required, and the dining options were exceptional. The pool area was beautifully designed, providing a perfect setting to relax after a long day at the picturesque Tropea beach. Although the beach is within walking distance, the shuttle service offered by the resort was convenient, with friendly and knowledgeable drivers. We are certain that we will return to this remarkable destination .
