There is a fire pit outside overlooking the mountain view.The Barnhouse is located about 3 miles to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest and 7 miles to DuPont State Park, an easy pedal for cycling enthusiasts. There is also a renovated corn crib in which to store your bikes at night. Located less than 5 minutes from downtown Brevard, one feels like in a remote area in the mountains, yet you are close to all that Brevard has to offer (with no worries driving back late at night), from shopping, restaurants and bars, to world class music festivals and white squirrels galore. The Barnhouse is a 20 minute drive from the Asheville Airport and 40 minutes to Ashville and is close to Flat Rock and Hendersonville. There is a small, fenced in pasture for those who need a place for their horse and several large stables within a mile of the barn.
