Extended Stay America Suites - Stockton - Tracy

Great staff who greeted us (Rosie and ?), professional and thorough! 5 stars for them! The hotel? 1 star. We are not in a bad part of town but this place makes you feel like it! It’s like they took a crappy motel and just threw in demolished kitchenettes they found in a dumpster. Never again. Not enough parking, old, run down, chipped counters, stained linens, stained rugs, loud fridge… if you don’t care the price is nice. Otherwise, run away.

The staff was amazingly helpful and accommodating. I say above and beyond. Always greeted with a smile and by name. They are friendly, courtious, professional, and caring. The rooms were nice as well as the grounds around the building. ☆☆☆☆☆

We stayed for 1 night while passing through Tracy, CA. Rooms were clean and spacious but a little tired. Fantastic staff and customer service. Room was on the 2nd floor but elevator was out of service, however we were informed of that upon check in.

Sarai the GM was great, she made sure my stay was exceptional. My room was clean and fresh. I was greeted with a smile everyday. I will definitely come back and stay at Extended Stay Tracy. The restaurants around are a plus.

Upon our arrival, we were shocked to see that the front desk clerk was not wearing a mask. My husband commented on this and she said it wasn’t required. When I got to our room, I checked on California law regarding masks. Everyone is supposed to wear a mask when indoors in public places. About 75% of the guests were unmasked and all of the employees were not wearing masks. Even the employee in charge of the breakfast room was not wearing a mask. At the entrance to the hotel is a sign declaring that We Care about You. They then listed all the things that they did to make the hotel Covid safe. Last on the list was the statement that all employees wore masks. This was certainly not the case. We did not feel safe during our short stay. I was forced to take the stairs rather then riding in an elevator with an unmasked guest. We skipped the complimentary breakfast since we didn’t feel safe entering a room where the food handlers were not wearing masks. After receiving a letter of complaint from me, the management stated that all employees were vaccinated. I’m also vaccinated but I still wear a mask in public places as required by law. Being vaccinated does not prevent one from carrying and spreading the disease. This lack of consideration for public health leaves us reluctant to choose a Best Western Hotel next time we travel.

The extended Stay in Tracy is a wonderful place to stay. It's clean and quiet. The staff there is wonderful. EspeciallyVicky ,Rosie , and Chris they went above and beyond their job description, their level of customer service deserves an A plus. So friendly and easygoing but business first at the same time.The three of them made my stay at the extended stay one I'd recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay. I also would like to add i felt safe with the doors requiring key card so not just anyone can be roaming the halls.

Great location many restaurants around the hotel. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. My room was clean. I wish they had fruit on the breakfast, other than that I had a great stay with Extended Stay.
