Good things and bad things Bad The hotel is dated. The food is soso. Crowded elevators. I don’t like the way luggage storage is handled. You lock it yourself in a storage room that is open to any guest. Any guest can open your luggage. Had to bring your own towel to onsen bath. Good Location. On the lake on the promenade. Our room had an awesome view. Photo is attached. Nice for going for a quiet walk at night on the promenade. And great for watching the fireworks. Hotel staff were very helpful and spoke English well. Comfortable futons.

The hotel facing us great. Have chosen the room with lake facing which alliws for good view of the fire eork displays. The room is the biggest that I've stayed throughout the 15 days in Tokyo and Hokkaido. Their buffet lunch and breakfast are grear as there are many options. The osen/publuc bath is great. It has the lake view.

Hotel is conveniently located next to the Toya Lake. Staff was very helpful and nice. Onsen experience was also very good.

A nice hotel located by Lake Toya with a 10min walk from the bus terminal. The bus from JR Toya station to Toyako bus terminal cost 400 per pax with no luggage storage space on board. The staff are courteous and can converse in English. The room Is clean and has a large window with Lake Toya view. The public bath for male and for female is located at the top most area and the outdoor bath at one of them is open sky type. The buffet spread at the level 2 restaurant is sumptuous with Japanese and western food. For leisure, one can rent the motorised ducky boat for a 20/30 min ride round the lake. But the key attraction is the nightly firework display at Lake Toya at 8.45pm to 9.05 pm. The boat firing off the fireworks starts from left and end on the right of the waterfront. Just find a spot anywhere along the lakefront walk and enjoy the show. The hotel also has a bingo game session at 8pm nightly. Bingo! and you get to win a prize of Japanese snacks. Overall a nice hotel to stay.

I like this hotel because of cleanness and the view of lake is amazing. Beside that the hot spring very nice

Very nice sea view tatami room, good dinner buffet and breakfast.

Great position just in front of the lake. You can see the lake from the onzen. Onzen is great with a few of people. The two original rooms arranged to us were not clean. One with blood stain on toilet bowl, another one with blood stained on sofa. Yet, staff arranged new rooms for us on another floor. The view is great if you choose lake view room. Buffet was okay with a wide range of food. The tables were low just like desks for kids at school. There were a lot of noisy tourisits during meals. Very disturbing.

Great view and love the location, great hotel facility too. It's easy access to the Lake, hotsrpings and transport to Toya station too. The hotel provide transport (1000 yen) to Sapporo station too. Really convenience and good to consider for holiday.

The lake view from the room is good. The buffet dinner and breakfast is very nice. Public bath on top floor has outdoor views so it’s enjoyable. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Super expensive room, very old and musky smell. Small tiny room. Buffet was bad, didn’t enjoy the food. Recommend to just drive to lake Toya to watch fireworks and save on the hotel.

Great location. A few minutes walk from the bus station. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel. The hotel is right in front of the lake. The onsen on the top floor offers panoramic view of the lake. The buffet breakfast and dinner are average. Limited fresh fruits and mostly frozen when served. Free coffee at the lobby runs different limited hours every day. Would be nice if it is offered all day.

We stayed in a Japanese-style room facing the lake. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, but the furniture is old, just not so used to small toilets. Reception and lobby ambience make you feel great. The breakfast buffet is part of the room package. Food spread is generally good, and seafood is served.

The hotel is very dated and old. Bathroom are small. The only good part of room is the clear view of the mountain. Dinner spread was big but tables and chairs were super low and totally not conformable for big size guys like me who have weak knees. I think they should cater some tables and chairs to people who have walking difficulties. Not much happening around the hotel, so other than Onsen, it can be quite boring! Also hotel is very Japanese with means not very flexible. For the high cost, I believe the choice is lots around the Lake Toya.

Hotel a bit old but well maintained. Good service made up for shortcomings.
