Les Trésorières

Excellent location, service, very special decor. We especially appreciated the attention and information that concierge “Nils” offered us. He pointed us in the direction of an excellent restaurant for dinner (Chien Fou) and made a reservation for us. He made us feel very welcome to this exquisite hotel, spoiled even! Special mention must be made of the bathroom, especially the shower. Very excellent decor and functionality. Kudos to the interior designers.

We spent three nights at Les Trésorières in March. We loved our stay. It was the shoulder season in the Loire Valley and we stayed during the week, so the hotel was very quiet. We had prepaid a “bed and breakfast special” and had a huge (especially by European standards) bedroom with a comfortable king bed and a large bathroom which included a gigantic tub. The hotel is very new. The hotel is in an excellent location, across the street from Les Halles where you can get wine, cheeses, meats, sweets, and so on. Parking is very close, with reserved spaces in the public garage and with inexpensive rates by hotel standards. Our room was very comfortable – the only issue we had is that it is was hard to properly cool down the room unless you opened a window. There was a fridge with complimentary (and replenished) waters and soft drinks, along with a mini Nespresso and tea kettle. (We just wish they provided a corkscrew in the room instead of having to traipse down to the bar for one!) There was a good-sized safe in the room. Wifi was excellent. In the bathroom, the shower temperature control and water were great, and there were very nice Clarins bath products. The hotel has a nice little fitness center and a beautiful indoor pool, sauna and steam room – we were really sad we didn’t bring our swimsuits! There is an extensive private outdoor courtyard which would be lovely to hang out in the summer. The hotel has a cute little bar. Breakfast was wonderful, with a wide assortment of pastries, fruits, yogurts, cereals, meats, cheeses, hot breakfast-y dishes, eggs to order, and coffees. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. All in all, we would highly recommend Les Trésorières to anyone wanting to stay in a lovely new hotel in the area.

The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere, with very friendly staff and a good breakfast. Its location is ideal. However, the rooms feature artificial wooden panels and faux marble, which give off a somewhat cheap vibe. Additionally, it’s odd that there is no handwashing sink in the WC.

Really liked the upscale feel of this hotel. Room was nice and bed very comfortable. Bathroom well appointed. Staff friendly. Nice breakfast. Parking is in an underground lot across the street. Easy walk to an extensive old town. Would have given 5 stars but our room was too warm. Staff set it cooler on our individual thermostat but it never cooled down. Not sure if it was broken or we just didn’t have it figured out

Les Trésorières hotel was fabulous. So beautiful. So quiet. The room was exquisite. The staff was attentive and took great care to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Wow. I wish I could have stayed here longer. The room was very large and looked brand new.

The staff were very polite and helpful. Ask them about the street with the restaurants, this was great advice and lots of options. The room was so spacious, the shower was the best ever. The bed was super comfy. Just what we needed at the end of a long French road trip. There’s a pool too. Delicious buffet breakfast, lady very polite. Parking is opposite hotel in Indigo Parking, and isn’t too expensive.
