The town Torre San Giovanni appeared like a construction site when we arrived by bike from the south. By and by we found the very small hotel Petra Bianca, sufficiently far from the ruckus of road work and new buildings. The host’s son Lorenzo met us and escorted us to the room (or appartment to be exact) and by a combination of signlanguage and deft use of some translation function on the phone, we communicated nicely. A fair night sleep and a very wholesome and nice breakfast, served by Magda, fortified us for the next leg of biking to the ancient town of Gallipoli (in Italy, not the infamous Turkish one of the first world war.

Petra Bianca is a place that hits all the high notes, the location to the ocean allows for morning walks and beautiful sunsets. it's a short walk to the center of the action with many restaurants shops and street food and at night has an almost carnival party feel. our hosts Magda and Massimiliano

Abbiamo soggiornato al Petra bianca di torre San Giovanni per una settimana!! ci siamo trovati strabene!! Volevo ringraziare la signora magda e le sue meravigliose figlie,per il servizio avuto e la simpatia!!penso che posso solo confermare le 5 stelle di questa struttura che se le merita tutte!!le colazioni della magda indimenticabili!!fatte con cura e amore!!infatti la qualità dei dolci frutta tutto quello che si trovava al tavolo,impossibile non assaggiarlo !! noi arrivavamo a pranzo con poca fame!!ah che famiglia squisita in tutti i sensi davvero!!da consigliare assolutamente questo b&b Petra bianca!! servizio e pulizia ottimale!!ci siamo trovati come a casa e accolti come in famiglia!!speriamo di ritornare anche l anno prossimo!! Poi hai tutto a portata di mano!!davvero tutto vicino!!il Mare bellissimo!!prezzi abbordabili!! É stata un' esperienza rilassante, siamo stati accolti da Magda e Massimiliano che sono stati calorosi, attenti, premurosi ed estremamente disponibili. Sono due imprenditori che gestiscono la loro attività valorizzando il territorio perché offrono prodotti a km 0 di alta qualità e consigliano tutti i servizi di cui loro per primi si servono, come lidi e ristoranti. La struttura è pulita e arredata nei minimi dettagli come un hotel ed é situata in un punto del paese dal quale non é necessario utilizzare la macchina per raggiungere il mare e i vari servizi ( dalla farmacia al ristorante). Considerando che sono una persona che frequenta da molti anni la zona, vi consiglio vivamente questa struttura perché é la migliore che abbia mai provato! Ci tornerò per soggiornare nei loro confortevoli appartamenti.

Di solito le recensioni si fanno alla fine ma io ho deciso di farla anche all’inizio….Massimiliano, Magda e le loro figlie gestiscono il B&B in maniera maniacale. Ubicato al centro Torre San Giovanni, pochissime stanze curate come non mai, pulizia, eleganza ma sopratutto cura del cliente. Colazione fenomenale, con frutta fresca, Pasticciotti e Muffin fantastici…

Siamo stati in questo bellissimo B&B a due passi dal mare con un terrazzo comodo e rilassante con vista mare. Tutto ben curato e di una pulizia ECCELLENTE. Ma ciò che lo rende speciale e' la cura e la passione che i proprietari mettono nel gestire il b&b, facendo sentire l'ospite a casa. La Sig.ra Magda coccola i suoi ospiti con un ottima e abbondante colazione. La passione che i proprietari mettono nel curare l'ospitalità dovrebbe essere d'esempio a tanti Hotel stellati... Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti. Grazie di tutto a presto.

Mi sono sentita coccolata come a casa. Il servizio è stato molto attento. Camera e letto meravigliosi. Veramente posto stupendo 🥰 Pulito, arredamento luminoso ed accogliente e la gentilezza regna sovrana. Grazie davvero ❤️

Siamo stati al Petra Bianca la prima settimana di giugno. Accoglienza ottima dei proprietari che si sono subito preoccupati di prenotarci un locale fantastico dove pranzare a base di pesce fresco . Magda è gentilissima e per qualsiasi cosa è disponibile ad darti consigli su dove mangiare in zona senza prendere fregature . La mattina la colazione è personale , nel senso che ogni ospite ha il proprio tavolo imbandito già con le prelibatezze tipiche del posto come il pasticciotto . Le camere sono pulite e ben sistemate , vengono riassestate ogni giorno . Le camere sono anche dotate di un piccolo stendino sulla finestra , molto utile da stendere i costumi e gli asciugamani da spiaggia . In camera vi è un frigorifero molto comodo. Fortunatamente abbiamo trovato bel tempo e siamo andati quasi tutti i giorni in spiaggia . Vicino c’è la spiaggia di Torre San Giovanni e di Torre Mozza , limpide e fantastiche entrambe . Vi è la possibilità di usufruire anche delle spiaggia libere senza dover pagare per andare allo stabilimento . A pochi passi dal Petra potrai trovare il centro di Torre San Giovanni con molti ristoranti e negozi aperti anche la sera . Fatevi consigliare da Magda per quanto riguarda i minimarket . Bravissime anche le figlie di che seguono la parte pulizia . Di sicuro ritorneremo !!! Voto 10 .
