The Millbrook B&B

Just a quick one night stay but what a find. Spotlessly clean. Free parking. Our room had so much storage space, more than I’ve had in some big hotels. Well stocked hospitality tray with water and fresh milk in the fridge. Comfortable bed and pillows. Such a welcoming place. Easy walk to the harbour. Vanessa and Cameron are so friendly and accommodating. Didn’t have breakfast as we were meeting friends but will if we visit again. This will definitely be our ‘go to’ next time we visit Torquay and we will! This little gem is to be thoroughly recommended. We give it 5 stars

Proper lush stay at Millbrook! Room was massive, breakfast spot on, and didn’t break the bank either. Vanessa and Cameron were absolute legends—let us have a lie-in and didn’t even charge us for the late check-out. Our train home got canceled, and they sorted us out with another night, no hassle. Can’t fault it—cracking place, would defo stay again!

Would 100% recommend the Millbrook b&b, the room was very clean, the owners were an absolute pleasure, and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was delicious and always hot and freshly cooked. We will absolutely be returning next year! Thank you we loved our stay with you 💞

Fabulous b and b. Run by a really lovely, friendly couple. Everywhere was super clean and the room was very comfortable. Very friendly - our Labrador even received his own sausage breakfast. Human breakfast was excellent too - a delicious homemade overnight oats type pot with strawberries and blueberries, orange juice and good coffee followed by our choice from the cooked menu. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and my husband had the full English. Delicious! An easy walk to The Drum - a thatched inn - for dinner completed a great stay.

This was my second stay at Millbrook since Cameron and Vanessa purchased it in 2023. Each visit has been 9-11 days.. time to enjoy and observe the operation of this remarkable bed and breakfast. The location is ideal.. a few minutes from the train by cab, or a 15 minute walk if luggage is not a challenge .The walk to Torre Abbey and the Harbour front is also only about 15 minutes. Available free parking on the property is a bonus. The decor is tasteful,comfortable and inviting; every area is immaculate. Having a fridge in the room is a welcome touch, as is the included milk and coffee/ tea / kettle. An asset to pet owners is the availability of a pet friendly room. For one who has mobility challenges, a ground floor room is available. Breakfasts are delicious, with numerous choices, whether the basics or my favorite omelette with lox and onion! I appreciated my rate not including breakfast, since I preferred sleeping late. However, it is the genuine caring and commitment of Vanessa and Cameron which elevate this B and B . It is an obvious goal that each guest has a memorable, fulfilling and enjoyable vacation experience in the Torquay area. On a personal note, my friend became ill and required hospitalization. We were treated as loved family throughout and following the experience. We felt as if we were leaving friends, and cannot imaging staying anywhere else!! Thanks again, Vanessa and Cameron.

We highly recommend the Millbrook, having made a last minute decision to have a weekend break, we chose the Millbrook b&b, we were not disappointed, spotlessly clean with a well presented decor, and a very relaxing atmosphere, we also had use of the beautiful garden. Breakfast was first class in the light and airy dining room, with plenty of choices, our host's were very friendly and informative recommending local places to eat and visit. We can't thank Vanessa and Cameron enough, thank you Very much for your hospitality
