It could so easily have been a cut & paste from our feedback 3 years ago. Nothing has changed , but how can you improve on perfection ? But Debbie & Rich deserve our time to write an upto date review as they are such lovely hosts. It is a home from home as soon as you are greeted at the door by Debbie. Debbie gave us guided tour of the lovely ,clean, fresh smelling B&B . Beautifully decorated, lovely fresh flowers everywhere which is a tease for the magnificent garden they have beyond the dinning room. We both made great use of the garden to relax after a hearty breakfast of locally sorce ingredients, with Rich's mamerlade without the best we have tasted. Within the bedrooms the beautiful decor continues , with everything and lots more than you will ever need. So many personal touches , homemade fudge , rockie roads bites, filtered cold water, fresh milk in refrigerator. To name but a few. We received some great insight and information of the area's to visit from them both, along with a fantastic information booklet in the room of places to eat. We will be returning for sure. It's a really great find . Everything at Bentley Lodge is perfect for a great holiday. But the one thing that makes it stand out from the rest are the great hosts Debbie & Rich.

A wonderful guest house with the perfect hosts. We spent a couple of nights here celebrating a special anniversary and on arrival found we had been upgraded and had been left a lovely bottle of prosecco and box of chocolates in our room,such a generous and lovely touch. The room(and the lodge in general) was very comfortable,everything was so clean and they have thought of everything to make sure your stay is perfect,the breakfast was fabulous and there was so much choice! Debbie and Rich can't do enough for you and should be very proud of what they have achieved,we would definitely recommend and would love to return one day.

Debby and Richard gave us a warm welcome and we had a lovely stay. They gave us a good and enthousiastic advise about sights in the neighbourhood, but also for our upcoming trip in Cornwall. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast and when we left we got a self-made cake for en route.

My husband David and I just had another lovely few days at Bentley Lodge. Debbie and Richard are the perfect hosts. Beautiful B&B, spotless , breakfast brilliant keeps you going all day. Lovely rooms Gorgeous garden to chill out in with a glass of wine or tea. Would highly recommend this lovely B&B. See you again love Sandra and David xx

Debbie and Richard were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable room and facilities with good /varied choice of breakfast . Garden is a great place to relax if you get the weather . We would definitely stay again if we visit Torquay.

This was just the best B&B we have stayed at. The location is good, a 20min walk downhill to the harbour and plenty of places for an evening meal within 10mins walk. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Debbie was lovely, attentive and welcoming. It was quiet and relaxing. The treats, tea and coffee, the mini fridge with water and milk all made you feel like Debbie and Richard really care about their guests. We will definitely be back. This is a real gem as are the hosts.

Absolutely fantastic, nothing is to much trouble , as for the breakfast it was 1st class, we will be back for sure , even if it’s just for the fudge and rocky road ❤️ , if you have stayed here, then I’d say just book it’s perfect , nice and quiet and the rooms are lovely

Just back from our second visit to Bentley Lodge and every bit as good as our last visit earlier this year. We have stayed at numerous places in Torquay over the years and this wonderful guest house supercedes all others . Debbie and Rich are perfect hosts, everywhere is spotlessly clean and the locally sourced breakfast top class. When in the area we wouldn't stay anywhere else. We highly recommend you give it a try and sure you won't be disappointed. Hope to see you in 2025. Steve and Chris

We have just spent a week at Bentley Lodge and we would very much like to thank Debbie and Richard for making us so welcome .Accommodation was beautifully presented and spotless throughout.
