Having visited other Daish hotels this outshone them all ,from the food , accommodation,staff , entertainment could not fault it . Top marks to the manager too who helped me with my phone when I had problem with the wi fi he was hands on all the time helping serve food in dinning room etc , will definitely visit again

Just returned from 5 day break in the Devonshire Hotel. All staff very friendly helpful efficient and very welcoming. This is our preferred hotel and returned there many times .The entertainment is excellent and have had a very pleasurable break. Waiting for the next one .

Fab hotel steve manager was lovely showed us his dance moves ,and adam our waiter was brilliant, room comfy but on floor 1 ,we wanted ground floor but they said they were allocated, will definitely return,food was nice but small portions, breakfast too early would be nice about 9.30am, maybe 2 sittings ,

Just returned from a wonderful 5-day break at the Devonshire. Couldn't fault a single thing from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. All staff were friendly and welcoming, hotel warm and cosy, room a good size with a comfortable bed, food enjoyable with a good choice of menu. Plenty to see and do in Torquay and the regular bus service one of the best we've experienced. We will definitely come again. Well done!

Had a lovely time stopping here with family. We went half-board so we enjoyed breakfast and our evening meal. Rooms were decent with comfy beds. Staff went out of their way to provide a family-friendly service. Entertainment was decent too. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We have been going to the Devonshire many times and still love it! Brilliant service! Great rooms clean and comfortable! Food is good! Staff are friendly and efficient! Have usually managed to use the pool which is always kept really clean and there are sun beds to cool down on!

Cannot compliment enough,nothing compares to the friendly staff at the Devonshire ,the managers,bar staff,and waiters go above and beyond to welcome you.Rooms are always cleaned with ample supplies of tea and coffee.would highly recommend.Entertainment sooo good especially Dave,New Years eve.

Got back today, 2/1/2025 , from pick up to drop back all fabulous … Arrived about 3pm our cases took to our room, our room was spotless, and what we requested, …the food was lovely , what more can I say ,staff all fab , New Years Eve was spectacular, food, entertainment, …mid night buffet was superb We had a morning trip out which was very nice, as it rained on NYD we stayed in, it’s a steep hill fine if your able bodied, but the bus pulls into the hotel car park anyway , ….we were just going get a taxi into town, but to wet .., Bar very reasonable … our only complaint was we ate way way to much 😂 Would we go again, of course we would …thank you to the management & staff …

Had great time as always steve and the team go above and beyond to make everyone's stay perfect food good standard room good comfy bed entertainment good coach was superb was a contracted one from appleyards very smart seating and very pleasant driver (chris) highly recommend trip see you all soon😁
