Entre Dos Aguas Hotel Boutique

This is a beautiful unique boutique hotel with Amazing service. Our room (junior suite) was clean, tastefully decorated, had several lovely views from various balconies. The hotel has several seating areas including a wonderful rooftop terrace with a great view. The service was exemplary. This is a hidden gem. Access requires a bit of walking but that is the nature of Toledo. You can bring your car to drop luggage then go park and walk back.

Lovely little boutique hotel. Lots of reverence to genius musician Paco de Lucia who owned the house for 4 years and recorded a famous album there. The bed was good, the place is a little bit small, check-in was smooth although we weren't informed about two different types of breakfast - continental or the "fantastic" one - which is possible to share by two! - Very friendly staff. Only thing I missed: Kettle and coffee machine in the room, that should be standard by now. (Teabags, coffee, sugar, milk)

This hotel was fantastic! Andrea checked us in and gave us a wonderful map and description on where to visit in Toledo. The breakfast was wonderful, the location was perfect, and the bed was so comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. Also, the hotel is full of history in itself - Paco de Lucia owned this villa which was turned into a boutique hotel - which the family still owns. Very unique and special hotel.

Just about as good a hotel experience as I've ever had, from the warm and friendly welcome (thank you, Ana), to the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff (Ana, Andrea and Silvia), and to the beautiful building and its magical atmosphere. The building was once the house of Paco de Lucia, the maestro of flamenco guitar, and has been sensitively converted so as to preserve much of the way it was when he was there, including his recording studio. His music is everywhere, even the five bedrooms are named after his tracks. Our bedroom was very comfortable, a great mattress on the bed, a choice of pillows and a lovely bathroom. Note - there's not a lot of hanging space and the room could probably do with a few hooks here and there, but that didn't detract from our sense of comfort and peace when resting there. Breakfast was excellent and served (by the brilliant Silvia) in the inner courtyard where cascading plants and Paco de Lucia's music playing unobtrusively in the background made this an enjoyable experience every morning. The coffee as good as it gets too. The hotel is situated in a quiet and beautiful square and was probably the most peaceful hotel I've ever stayed in and sitting on the roof terrace with a nightcap watching the sunset and the swifts was the perfect way to end the day. Close enough to be within a short walk to the main sights, and with a great restaurant/café/bar just around the corner called Embrujo, the hotel and staff provided a wonderful place for a perfect break. We will return.

Charming hotel with excellent and attentive service. The room had a lot of storage space, was clean, and the beds were very confortable. A lot of small details made the rooms and hotel even more special. Gabriela and the other woman were very nice and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

From first contact Leticia and her colleagues could not have been more helpful…arranging for transfers from the airport, an excellent walking guide and recommending superb places to dine. This gem of a boutique hotel in the historic heart of the beautiful city, is the perfect base for exploring Toledo. On arrival and a welcome cup of mint tea, the story of the hotel, home to famous Spanish guitarist, Paco de Lucia, was explained and we were treated to a fascinating tour of the hotel with its relaxing areas like the basement recording studio and rooftop terrace offering views across the city. So many details had been thought of to make our stay relaxing and informative and the complimentary tea and coffee station (with additional drinks available if required) was enjoyed on our daily returns from walking tours. Leisurely breakfasts were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. A highlight was the tasting menu on our first night - not to be missed and utterly delicious, prepared and served at the intimate bar so cleverly using this small space. It set high standards for the rest of our stay but recommendations for other places to eat too did not disappoint - and don’t miss Taberna Botero (recommended by our guide) for excellent tapas. With such kindness, comfort and attention to detail, it was hard to leave Entre dos Aguas when we had to return to the UK and we would love to return soon.
