This hotel is probably one of my favourite in Japan. Love how cozy the place is. So many konbinis close by and cafes too. Ikebukuro main station is also about 7 to 10 mins walk. My 2nd time staying here and will probably stay again.

My most favourite accommodation in Japan! Not only clean, location is quiet and good( near to sunshine city prince hotel, direct Limousine bus from Narita airport , worried free!). All the necessary items given ( facial cleaning oil, cleanser, toner, cream, hair oil). The room is spacious and comfortable , two pillows given, staffs are nice, breakfast ok. Recommend for solo travellers and family stay too.

Quite far, needs walk abt 12 mins from Ikebukuro station. Not as near compared to others that I had stayed. The room n neat n clean, subway line is nearby. Doesn’t have a resting lounge like the Akihabara outlet; which is really nice.

The hotel is not bad, near the game and shopping Spot l, the room is clean and the staff is polite, but there is a bit small.

The location was excellent, very close to the station. Staff was awesome and helpful. I asked for luggage delivery service. The staff was patient and used the translation machine to make sure that we communicated correctly. He called another holtel to confirm the location and time. We stayed only one night, I would stay longer next time.

decently good location, right next to a minor line and probably about 5 minutes of brisker walking to the main ikebukuro station.

This hotel offers excellent convenience for travelers. It’s easily accessible, just a 15–20 minute train ride from the central station to Ikebukuro. The walk from the station is smooth, and there’s an elevator available, so there’s no need to carry your luggage up the stairs. The rooms are clean and well-equipped with all the essential amenities. A standout detail is the complimentary daily water refill, with two bottles provided each day—very thoughtful! Additionally, the hotel offers luggage storage, which is perfect for guests who don’t want to carry their bags around during the day. Overall, it’s a great choice for those seeking comfort, convenience, and excellent service in a prime location. Highly recommended!

The hotel is convenient when there are many convenient stores nearby. Even there is a distant (actually 200-400m only) from JR Ikebukuro station. It is close to the Sunshine City commercial area and East Ikebukuro station. They dont clean room everyday but once in 4 days. Which is fine for me as I dont like strangers entering my room. Yet they collect waste and replace daily necessities (waste bag, towel, pajamas and water etc.) everyday. The room is tidy and hv enough space for a solo traveller. However the light maybe a little bit dimmed and you can see dust in the air conditioner. But the hygiene is acceptable. The frontdesk staff is helpful and kind. You can also get toothbrush, shaver and bath bomb such things in the frontdesk. Overall, it was a nice stay in this hotel with its convenient location. Some issues might not be satisfactory but it is totally fine given that the price is affordable. Will definitely put this hotel into my consideration when travel to Tokyo next time.

There are supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is not close to the station with around 15mins walk.

The location is quiet good, not too far from station (10 - 15 mins walk) and a lot of shops, restaurants nearby. The room is not really cleaned as Japanese standard, still acceptable. However, the mattress is very old and really dirty. The main reason I am not sure if I want to come back. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

really nice staff, good spoken English. the complimentary tea selection is nice. new facilities. the shampoo provided was amazing as well!!

Single room, there is still have space with 30in baggage. Walk to JR Ikebukuro station was faster than imagined, and there is LAWSON just at the corner. There are 2 points have to improve, 1. As there is no wardrobe in the room, thus more hook & hanger will be needed 2. Much dust in the air-con (wind out area) & a bit noisy when it in operating

The hotel is very clean , comfortable, good service and near a metro.

Its not our first time staying with this Resol, this time we stayed for 4 nights. Yet we’re offered a smaller than last time room! Worse still, its facing a wall … Still couldnt bear the cleaning rituals : rolm cleanjng on 4th day … well at least someone could take care of toilet cleaning daily !
