Overall a good place to stay but with limited space for storage I was traveling light but still had to compact my belongings

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip at &AND Hostel. We opted for a private room and it was spacious and bright. We liked the decor and bed. The shared washrooms were nice and generally quite clean. The least clean place was actually the floor of the room. It was covered in long black hair that was from neither myself or my partner. We found it on our clothes, on our bags and even near the bed because it would stick to everything. Besides that, the location was nice and quiet. It wasn’t too far from Asakusa or Ueno. If you’re looking to spend most of your time in Shibuya or Shinjuku, you may want to be closer as it’s at least 30+ minutes via transportation. Otherwise, it’s a very nice hostel with any of the amenities you need in it or around it!

reception: very good hospitality, they have cozy lounge with coffee snack and hot ddinks. of course very small, but it's enough. All amenities are very clear near to asakusa, skytree etc., thank you for everythibng

Excellent hostel, stayed for 5 nights. The capsules are optimally sized for 170 sm tall medium size women, there were sockets and USB charging ports inside. It was cleaned every day, so the shower and toilet were always clean. Laundry 300 yen, drying machine 100 yen, towel rent 300 yen. On the ground floor there is an area for relaxing and eating with a refrigerator and microwave, books and magazines. The staff is very polite and friendly, speaks English very well (most of the guests here are Europeans). After 11 a.m., no one made any noise, all travelers followed the rules and did not go to the shower or dry their hair after 11 p.m. The location of the hostel is simply excellent. When I'm in Tokyo, I'll definitely come back here.

Very very tight space. Luggage barely fits under the bed, gets scratched in the process. Toilets and bathroom are directly in front of your bed, one arm length away. Beds are not built soundproof. Air conditioner can not be adjusted and set at 19 degrees with strong circulation. This place was not designed with the guest in mind.

I wish I had found this place earlier. I would've stayed the whole duration of my trip! Very nice ambient vibe at the front desk with friendly staff.

very quiet area, close to a few metro. when i was there it wasnt very crowded. The bathroom was never occupied when i needed. neither was the shower. everything is clean, and other travelers are quiet and respectful.

Don’t expect cleaning service , the hostel only provides bed sheath change only if you stay for more 4 days. The cleaning service is not available due to security issues (as they said) . Otherwise , the shared bathroom is cleaner than i thought and each floor provided 1 bathroom/3rooms. If you booked a private room , the hostel provides 1 towel/guest/stay (no matter how long you stay)

I solo traveled to Japan for a month and stayed in this hostel for 2 weeks. Everything looks exactly like the pictures! I've seen some comments about there being only one bathroom for the whole dorm, but I went in June (not so many people, I guess?) and never had any issues. The location is really good, and using Google Maps makes it easy to find your way. It even recommends the best route depending on where you want to go! A few things to keep in mind: there's only a microwave and a fridge, so cooking isn't possible. However, there is water, and you can get hot water for instant meals. Special thanks to one of the staff members, Kotoha. She was amazing, we had great conversations, and she recommended places to visit, where to eat, and snacks to take home! If I ever had the chance again I will be definitely going back, ty!
