Hotel Grand Orchid

Stayed in room 212 with family. Checked in on 16 feb and checked out on 17 feb 25. First let me bring out the positives of this property. 1. Location 2. Room size 3. Functioning kettle, a/c 4. Clean wash room 5. Excellent mattress to sleep on. Very comfortable. 6. Food served was of good quality. Bfast was included part of the package and was excellent. 7. Fast check-in / out process. Now coming to the negatives- 1. No wifi coverage to our room. 2. Restaurant under renovation. Cooks not available in sufficient numbers i think. 3. Very slow & poor service. Overall a very good experience in the hotel. Would have rated 4 star if the food service was good. Rooms4. 0 service2. 0 location5. 0

Pathetic room service , no hospitality .rooms are fine but apart from that no service catered .bad experience

Very hopeless service. Kitchen is under renovation. When i called them previous day, they didn't inform. They informed after checking in.

Worst room. Flush was not working and hot water is not coming in initial room allloted. They are too late on responding and as per price it’s worst accommodation. Intercom was not working. Every time need to come to reception and tell them

Stay was very pleasant and the place is centre of the tirupathi town - food was good too! convenient place to reach both renigunta & tirupathi railway station! overall pleasant stay

Hotel Grand Orchid in Tirupati offers spacious rooms that provide a comfortable stay. However, the bathrooms, though large, are not well-maintained, with visible water stains and signs of wear. The TV selection is limited, offering fewer channels than expected. The food options were average, with limited variety and room for improvement in taste. The breakfast buffet was similarly restricted, with a lack of hot options and a relatively small spread. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to check the service in detail during my short stay. While the hotel's location (near RTC bus stand) is quite convenient for exploring Tirupati, the overall experience does not justify the relatively high price. Given the lack of variety in food, limited amenities, and maintenance issues, the hotel feels overpriced for what it offers. It could certainly be more affordable for the standard of services provided.
