Black Swan Inn is a beautiful and quaint B&B. Host Trish was happy to accommodate our needs. Our bed was very comfortable and the stained glass windows just glowed as the sun set. The steps were a little rough on our poor old knees but that is no fault of this beautiful old grand home. There are street level rooms just across the driveway which we will definitely check out for our next visit. There is some street noise but it gets very quiet during the night. This is a nicely appointed, clean home well worth a visit. Thank you to Trish and Staff for a wonderful visit.

We stayed in what was advertised as their Honeymoon Suite. It was more like staying in the Addams Family House or Funeral Home. Breakfast was average at best. Inn grounds not landscaped, highly overgrown. Owners nowhere to be found. Will never go back.

Was a nice place. However the suite 2 bed was pretty hard. Ok if you like very firm. I didn't sleep well. I recommend staying in the Inn itself, if you want to experience the Victorian feel. The suites did not have that for me personally. The place did have great history.

We were up in the area for my niece's wedding. My wife looked around for a place to stay. She came across The Black Swan B&B. This is such a great place. The whole staff are great. This is a Grand Victorian age home. I can't begin to describe the charm that this home holds. Located not far from shopping. But conveniently located to some of the greatest areas of N.H. You are welcomed with one of the greatest breakfasts that you will ever have. A family of fantastic people host this B&B. This is a must see place. Easy to get to. You will fall in love with it.

Stayed here for NH Speedway races. The owners, Trish and John, are very warm and friendly. They have done an amazing job at maintaining this hidden treasure and keeping the period of time true! Our room was charming and cozy. Trish’s love of cooking shows in the beautiful and delicious breakfasts we had, absolutely splendid! The 1940’s era music playing while eating breakfast in the dining room transported me back in time! Will definitely be coming back!

What a wonderful, charming, welcoming place! The hostess, Trisha, and her mom are genuinely thoughtful people. The house is amazing - historic, beautifully appointed, rich in architectural detail, and surrounded by well-kept grounds. Our room/suite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We only had one night to enjoy the Black Swan, but our next visit will be longer.

One of the best experiences we’ve both had in a long long time. Great owners, a beautiful room, and a breakfast second to none. The grounds were incredible, and the surrounding towns displayed their own uniquenesses

What an amazing place. Superbly done. Like an elegant museum and yet so welcoming. Cannot praise it enough. After a very pleasant meal at the nearby Onions Pub all we wanted to do is to return and enjoy the surroundings.

I have been staying at the Black Swan Inn going on 8 plus years now. I feel like it is my home away from home! Everytime I'm about to arrive, I'm so happy because I know what to expect. The feeling of comfort, the delicious breakfasts, and hospitality, not to mention their coffee that was created just for the Inn makes each stay wanting me to come back for another stay. I'm always sad to leave and start planning my next visit. The owners Patti and John really know how to do it right. There will always be someone who may have difference of opinion about Bed and Breakfasts but people have to understand that most B & Bs are at least 150+ years old and not everything is crisp and brand new like a hotel. That is why B and Bs are a special place to stay at. Most have a history like the Black Swan Inn has. I can't say enough about how much I love it there. I am definately a forever Black Swan Inn girl!
