I’ve been using Trip App to book serviced apartments for years, and I’ve never left a negative review — until now. This is by far the worst serviced apartment I have ever stayed in! The photos on Trip App are completely misleading — they look nothing like the reality.
When we checked in, the front desk “kindly” offered a free upgrade to a three-bedroom unit. At first, this seemed like a nice gesture — but the moment we stepped into the room, we were shocked. The entire place was covered in dust, like it hadn’t been occupied or cleaned in ages. The wooden floorboards creaked loudly with every step… seriously?
And then the problems just kept piling up. The cold water tap in the master bathroom tub was broken — we couldn’t get any cold water, so we were forced to shower with scalding hot water. Completely unbearable!
As for the so-called daily housekeeping service? It doesn’t exist unless you beg for it. They never clean proactively — you have to call and request every single thing. Ask for fresh towels? Either “housekeeping is off duty” or simply “we’re short-staffed.”
And just when we thought it couldn’t get worse — on the third day, they suddenly told us we had to move back to our original two-bedroom unit. So we had to repack everything and relocate.
The new room? Even dirtier than the last one. Dust everywhere. Once again, we asked for cleaning — and again, “no staff available.” In the end, my wife had to borrow a mop and clean the filthy floor herself. We wiped down the dirty kitchen and dusty table surfaces on our own too — because no one else would.
And the bathroom? What a joke. They installed a 1.2-meter-high triangular tub in the shower — you literally have to climb into it to bathe. Who designed this? How is an elderly person supposed to use it? It’s the most ridiculous, impractical setup I’ve ever seen.
And that’s not even the end of it — in the second bedroom, the bed sheets were torn — seriously, ripped! And get this: no hot water in that room’s bathroom. The list of problems is endless.
The only thing worth mentioning is one male staff member at the front desk who was actually polite and tried to help. But the lady? Her attitude changed by the minute — one second cold, the next dismissive. Always full of excuses, and never actually helped solve anything.
At 500–600 RMB per night, this place is a complete rip-off. From hardware to service to management, this place fails on every level. Not worth the price, not even close. This is a total scam of a serviced apartment. I’ve stayed in many — and this one is hands-down the worst.
Do yourself a favor — stay far away. Don’t fall into the trap!
