The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly—the service truly stands out, and I felt right at home. I’d happily give a 5+ star rating for their warmth and hospitality. However, I have to rate them down to one star due to the way they handled a serious issue with the customer account and billing. I also came specifically for weight loss treatment, but by the end of four weeks, I had actually gained one kilo—an outcome that was both surprising and disappointing, given my expectations and commitment to the program. Unfortunately, the actual facility does not match the way it’s presented online. The website photos are deceptive, giving the impression of a pristine and well-maintained property. In reality, the environment is quite moldy and unkempt. There were roaches coming out of the steam box in the treatment room. The towels used were questionable. The walls around the pool are all moldy. The view from my window included mold-covered stairs and a messy yard—not something you would expect from a wellness retreat. The surroundings do not reflect the peaceful, clean atmosphere portrayed on the website. There are also some important areas for improvement in terms of hygiene and maintenance. The staff would benefit from further training in hygiene standards. The treatment rooms require much higher levels of upkeep, and the steam rooms are in need of a complete overhaul. Towels used for patients should be either disposable or thoroughly laundered to ensure proper cleanliness. Additionally, the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the treatment room surroundings must be improved. The food is excellent in quality, but the method of serving could be significantly improved to align with proper hygiene standards. Serving plates and cups need replacement or refurbishment, and meals served in rooms should be covered with clean, tight-fitting trays—similar to practices followed in reputable hotels—to avoid exposure. The facility itself has potential. It is designed with thoughtful landscaping and has a strong foundation for visual appeal. With professional maintenance and attention to detail, the outdoor spaces could truly become a highlight. A clean, well-maintained garden enhances the ambiance and promotes a sense of calm and wellness, which is so vital in a healing environment. However, I do want to mention a disappointing experience related to billing and customer service. I checked out on July 4th, but there was no trained staff available to handle the transaction properly. We were charged twice, and although the error was acknowledged later by the regular administrator, no refund was issued from their side. Instead, we were told to wait for the bank to process the refund. That took weeks, and we were informed it would take 30 more days to get our money back.
