A newly furnished California ranch style home just 1 mile from Entrance Gate to Sequoia National Park. This home is one of the closest vacation rentals to the park! The Kaweah River is accross the street, and Lake Kaweah is 15 min downt the hill. Accommodates up to 6 guests, additional small children may be accommodated on request. BBQ on private patio with spacious outdoor seating areas. Close
Property was spacious enough for the 5 of us. Location could not be any better. Need a few more eating utensils in the kitchen. Dishwasher could not be opened all the way which was a royal pain. Check in was a dream! Overall, I would recommend this house. (Lighting could be better. )

Very close to sequoia
Great home base for exploring the park. Lovely place. The switches were a bit of a mystery. Some turned on but what they controlled remained a mystery.

This house is very cute and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable with hotel like sheets. It has a great big family room with large table for card games. I would stay here again. It is true that while close to the road, you don’t really hear the cars going by.
Things to note:
1) It is only a mile from the park. That said, the park sites (big trees) are about an hour away up 130 curves and 12 switchbacks. This is about the closest house you can get from the entrance.
2) I was not overly impressed with the local restaurants. You might plan to cook at the property.
