Junction Hotel

Had a great stay here with our young baby. The travel cot provided was good & staff were so helpful & lovely. The rooms definitely don’t feel like they are above a pub. They are quiet, spotlessly clean & very comfortable. I could hear the bass from the music downstairs but it was soft enough that my husband couldn’t really hear it. We were just at the top of the stairs so I imagine some of the other rooms may not have had any noise at all. We felt very comfortable here & the lovely staff made room for our pram in the restaurant downstairs every time we popped down for a meal. There’s a short flight of stairs to get up to the room (no lift) & parking is just street parking in the surrounding streets, but this all worked out fine for us.

I have stayed here before and the previous experience was so good I came back. My reason for being here was personal, not on business. The rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The staff, including the hands on owner, are a delight to deal with and well versed in hospitality. On my previous visit, I ate at their very nice restaurant. I had planned to do so again. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed as they were doing a major new fitout. I will be back to try it. Also, the area around the hotel has a definite 'village' feel.

I've been staying here for many years and its always very welcoming & relaxed for a solo, female traveller. The rooms are stylish, quiet, calming, and the beds, linen & pillows are super comfy & nice. Hotel staff are friendly & professional, bistro is fantastic, food delicious, wine list above average - its definitely 5* !!

Stayed 2 nights in Room 1, & highly recommend. Quiet room, clean, spacious, and super comfy bed. Ate breakfast each morning in the restaurant, & 1 dinner. The food was delicious, staff super attentive, and fantastic vibe. Super convenient location, and we'll definitely be back.

The food was sooooo bad. Inedible. The oysters smelt so rotten. The menu was weird. It’s a mix of classic Australian but also Asian, middle eastern but mostly confused. 250gr steak for $40 of terrible quality and terrible fish tacos. Not a good thing to say about that joint.

Had an absolutely fantastic first stay at The Junction Hotel for 3 days with my sister. Great sized room, dead quiet (I was a bit worried being above a pub and on a busy road but not a sound!), wonderful, friendly and helpful staff, and our room was made up by 11am every day. Can’t wait to stay again!
